Get out of town with fellow remote workers and work, play, eat, drink and be merry at our Spring co-working retreat!

Gorgeous natural scenery nestled against the Great Smoky Mountains and known for its artsy, hippie/hipster vibe, Asheville has become the de facto digital nomad hub of the South. For this retreat, we'll be staying at The Lazy Tiger Hostel a short 8-minute drive from downtown Asheville (though you're welcome to join and make your own accommodations too).

During weekday working hours, we'll co-work at a local coffee shop or co-working space, then hang out and enjoy the city and a range of activities together in the evenings and weekend. We'll even meet up with our local sister group, AVL Digital Nomads.

Spring is here, and there are many things to get excited about—what deserves a high-five in your world? Come meet and high-five your fellow remote workers and nomads! We’ll organize tables in the beer garden at [Hi-Wire in the River Arts District](https://hiwirebrewing.com/venue/rad-beer-garden/). They have a delicious food truck and plenty of great beer, of course!

We will have the pleasure of connecting with visiting members of the [Triangle Remote Workers & Digital Nomads](https://www.meetup.com/nc-triangle-remote-workers-collective/) from Raleigh/Durham. They have added a travel component to their community which will be great to hear about.

Our group is all about welcoming everyone as they are. As always, we'll have name tags, to help ease introductions. We're looking forward to another fabulous event, meeting more new friends, and enjoying some beverages and conversation. See you there!

As the weather looks promising, we are no longer limiting event attendance as we have almost unlimited space outside.

**May is mental health awareness month and what better way to improve mental health than to network with your best friend!**

As remote workers, we often miss out on daily social interactions that can be vital for our mental well-being. "Remote Tails" is designed to fill that gap by combining the joys of pet companionship with the benefits of community networking.

If weather permits, feel free to stop by to network and get to know other digital nomads. Enjoy a breath of fresh air while your furry friends play in a friendly, open environment. Share tips, discuss your latest projects, or simply unwind among peers who understand the remote work lifestyle.

**For the safety and enjoyment of all, please ensure that your dog(s) are leashed at all times during the event and have their vaccinations up to date. This helps create a secure and friendly environment for everyone.**
