Recomendaciones generales:

  • 驴Sabes mucho de Python y Datos? 驴Sabes poco y quieres saber m谩s? 隆

***
We meet again in May to keep talking about Python, Data, Visualization, Artificial Intelligence, and more!

The event will take place at Kair贸s DS, who have generously offered their space.

This time, we will have the pleasure of having these two talks:

  • Celia L贸pez (19:15-19:45), Customer Success Engineer at Plotly, will talk about Plotly, a library for interactive visualization with bindings in Python, R, Julia, and more languages (in Spanish).
  • Diana Pi帽eiro (19:45-20:15), Data Engineer at ING on behalf of Kair贸s DS, will talk about some of the typical performance problems in data extraction pipelines and how to solve them using concurrency (in Spanish).

After the meeting, we will stay at the Kair贸s DS office to have a bite and do a bit of networking.

General recommendations:

  • Are you an expert in Python and Data? Are you a beginner and you want to learn more? In both cases, you are very welcome!
  • Apply the "Pacman rule": if you're in a circle, leave a gap so that someone else can join.
  • Respect everyone's choices with respect to alcohol. Not everybody likes or wants to drink beer!
  • If you're shy or introverted and you don't want to say anything, you don't have to. If you only want to see and hear, that's perfectly fine!
  • On the other hand, if you would like to talk to someone but you don't know to whom, seek the organizers and simply say: 芦Hi!禄
  • If you don't speak good Spanish, we will do our best to make you feel comfortable. But be mindful that other attendees might want to use their native language in larger conversations. Use this opportunity to practice your Spanish! If you are bored, feel free approach the organizers and say 芦Hi!禄
  • At PyData events there is a Code of Conduct https://pydata.org/code-of-conduct/ super short version: be kind (all else is details), abstain from insulting others or making sexist, racist, or other exclusionary jokes, and do absolutely not make sexual advances to other attendees.

Medidas de seguridad de la COVID-19

El evento se celebrar谩 en interiores
Everyone is free to wear or not their mask. If you have symptoms even if they are mild or have been in close contact with a confirmed case, don't wait for the antigen test: just stay at home. We will meet at some other time! If you don't know how to greet folks in these pandemic times, you can wave your hand from afar or present your fist or elbow. There is no need to shake hands, hug, or kiss if you don't want to.
