🌎 GIS con Python y análisis de datos en tiempo real con Quix Streams

PyData Madrid vuelve en abril para hablar de Python, Datos, Visualización, Inteligencia Artificial, y lo que surja.

El evento se realizará en las instalaciones de 42 Madrid (Distrito Telefónica, Las Tablas), que generosamente ha cedido su espacio.

Importante ⚠️ Necesitamos tu nombre completo y DNI, no olvides introducirlo en el formulario de registro. Usa el campo "razón para asistir" para el DNI.

En esta ocasión, tendremos el placer de contar con dos charlas:

• Miguel Moncada (19:45-20:15), Support Team Lead en Carto, nos dará una introducción a Python para Sistemas de Información Geográfica (SIG) (en español).
• Javier Blanco (20:30-21:00), Senior Data Scientist en Quix, nos introducirá al tratamiento de datos en tiempo real con la librería open source de Python quix-streams (en español).

Después de la reunión, iremos a un bar cercano para hacer un poco de networking.

Recomendaciones generales:

• ¿Sabes mucho de Python y Datos? ¿Sabes poco y quieres saber más? ¡En ambos casos, te damos la bienvenida!
• Aplica "la regla del comecocos": si estás en un círculo, deja siempre un hueco para que otra persona se pueda unir.
• Puede haber asistentes que no hablen bien español y que se manejen mejor en inglés. Sé paciente y ¡no dejes que se aburran!

PyData Madrid comes back in April to talk about Python, Data, Visualization, Artificial Intelligence, and more!

This time, we will have the pleasure of having these two talks:

• Miguel Moncada (19:45-20:15), Support Team Lead at Carto, will give an introduction to Python for Geographical Information Systems (GIS) (in Spanish).
• Javier Blanco (20:30-21:00), Senior Data Scientist at Quix, will introduce us to real-time data analysis using the Python open source library quix-streams (in Spanish).

After the meeting, we will go to a nearby bar to have a drink and do a bit of networking.

General recommendations:

• Are you an expert in Python and Data? Are you a beginner and you want to learn more? In both cases, you are very welcome!
• Apply the "Pacman rule": if you're in a circle, leave a gap so that someone else can join.
• If you don't speak good Spanish, we will do our best to make you feel comfortable. But be mindful that other attendees might want to use their native language in larger conversations. Use this opportunity to practice your Spanish! If you are bored, feel free approach the organizers and say «Hi!»
