Descripción: ¿Quieres aprender computación cuántica de la mano de Amazon Web Services? En este workshop se explicarán los fundamentos de esta disruptiva forma de computación, aprenderemos a desarrollar y ejecutar algoritmos cuánticos en la nube de Amazon, y finalmente conoceremos conceptos más avanzados como el Quantum Machine Learning, o la Computación Cuántica Adiabática en sistemas D-Wave. Se facilitarán entornos de aprendizaje en AWS a los asistentes al evento, de forma que puedan seguir los contenidos del workshop de forma práctica e interactiva.

Organizan: Evento organizado conjuntamente entre Quantum Madrid, Amazon Web Services, y el Máster en Quantum Computing Technology de la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.

Formato: Evento impartido en inglés, online, y gratuito. La agenda se repartirá en dos días, con una sesión prevista el jueves 22 de septiembre de 14:00 a 17:00h, seguida de otra el viernes 23 de septiembre de 14:00 a 17:00h (hora local de Madrid). Se grabarán las sesiones para su visionado posterior, quedando disponibles en los canales públicos de YouTube de Quantum Madrid, y/o del Máster en Quantum Computing Technology de la UPM, si bien no podrán ofrecerse entornos de aprendizaje en AWS más allá de las fechas del workshop. Todas las actualizaciones sobre el evento se enviarán a través de Meetup, llegando a los correos electrónicos de los asistentes que se hubiesen registrado previamente.

Description: Do you want to learn Quantum Computing with the guidance of Amazon Web Services? In this workshop, we will cover the basic concepts about this new disruptive form of computing, we will learn to develop and run quantum algorithms in Amazon's cloud platform and, finally, we will get to know more advanced concepts such as Quantum Machine Learning, or Adiabatic Quantum Computing on D-Wave's systems. Learning environments in AWS will be provided to the attendees, so that they can follow the workshop's contents in a practical and interactive way.

Organization: Event organized by Quantum Madrid, Amazon Web Services, and the Master in Quantum Computing Technology from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.

Format: Event held in English, online, and without cost. The agenda will be split in two days, with the first session taking place on September 22, from 14:00 to 17:00h, and the second one taking place on September 23, from 14:00 to 17:00h (Madrid local time). The sessions will be recorded, and will be made available in the public YouTube channels from Quantum Madrid and/or the Master in Quantum Computing Technology from UPM, although the AWS learning environments will not be available beyond the dates of the workshop. All updates will be notified through Meetup, being delivered via email to those attendees that registered for the event.
