Demonstration - Nem Um Passo Atrás (Not One Step Back)
Detalles
On March 19th, the Portuguese Parliament will debate three bills that directly attack trans and intersex rights. CH, PSD, and CDS-PP want to:
- Force medical reports to change name/gender (re-pathologization)
- Raise the minimum age to update the documents to 18
- End social name protection in schools
- Ban puberty blockers (even with parental consent)
- Allow genital mutilation on intersex children
All against scientific evidence. All opposed by the Order of Psychologists, Sexology Society, and health professionals.
This isn't "debate." This is political violence. And we must respond.
Show up on the 19th, 3:30 PM, in front of the Assembly. The comes for the dolls today, they'll come for all of us next. Any step backward for any part of the community is a step backward for all of us.
When they come for one of us, they come for all of us.
