The 8 Strategies That Run Your Relationships
Detalles
We all have a handful of automatic moves we make in close relationships. They fire faster than thought. They feel like personality rather than choice.
From the inside, you cannot see your own strategy.
In this session I will walk you through all eight, one by one. Most people recognise themselves in three.
What we'll do
Eight strategies, described from the inside, as the sentences that actually run through your head daily.
For each one: what it sounds like internally, what the person next to you experiences, and the trap that keeps it in place.
And at the end, the uncomfortable finding: the strategy you recognised is the one you already knew about. Your strongest one is almost certainly among the ones you did not pick — and there is a structural reason you cannot find it alone.
Who this is for
People in long relationships where something has gone flat. People who left one relationship and keep meeting the same dynamic in the next. People who have done therapy, understand their patterns intellectually, and notice that every evening still goes the way it always did.
You do not need any background in psychology.
What you'll leave with
Names for three things you have been doing for years without a name. One small experiment to run this week. And a clear picture of where your blind spot sits.
About me
I'm Mila Skalkina, a psychologist and life coach. I work with couples and run therapy groups. I've lived in Russia, Zimbabwe, the Netherlands and now Spain, which taught me more about losing and rebuilding yourself than any textbook did.
These eight strategies did not come from a manual. They came from my own work, from the things people actually say about themselves when nobody is performing.
