> "Build your portfolio website with R+Shiny"
The aim of the talk is to give an overview on how R+Shiny can be used to build your own webpage (or any other app).
The talk is splitted in two parts:
The first one will be focused on reviewing the basics of Shiny development, sharing resources that I have used to build my own website (and others app) and discussing methods to deploy the apps we build.
The second part of the talk is a small demo where we will be building a simple Shiny App (using R+Shiny) and we will deployed it using shinyapps.io
If you want to do the practical part, you should have RStudio and the {shiny} package installed

Hi there! I'm Xisca Pe and I'm a Senior Data Scientist from Mallorca (Spain). Currently I'm working as a product researcher in a software company, but I have also been involved in projects related with e-commerce and consultancy.
During the past five years I have joined several data/hackathons around Spain focused on a wide variety of topics such as building a recommender for banks environment or weather prediction.
Beyond my data-projects, I love books, music and cats.
