Scala.js introductory talk

Scala Bcn is back for the first meetup of 2023!
Guillem Iscla is gonna give a really nice talk about Scala.js. Have you ever wondered how to use Scala in the browser? Now you'll know how :).

Join us for some fun learning and share your experiences and doubts afterwards in nice and friendly conversations with community members.

The talk will be given in English, but most of the community speaks also Spanish so don't feel discouraged! There's space for everyone here.

Talk Abstract
Scala.js, an alternative tool to create web apps with Scala code, has been on the road for a while and you can find extensive documentation, online tools, blogs and discover its own way to do things. I will explain here my motivation, the personal impression I had as a developer and some of the difficulties I found through my journey on getting used to it.

We will see how a project with Scala.js code looks like with hands-on coding, starting from scratch and progressively building up features. While we do that, we will see advantages of the platform and some options available to develop your web apps.
