While graph databases are relatively new as a database technology, their theory and real-world modeling predate the Digital Age. In this high-level talk, we'll explore the background, uses, and implementation of graph databases, focusing on the powerful Neo4j platform.

During this session, we will:

Joel Gallagher - Software Developer, DevOps Engineer - MCSA
Joel is an Australian software developer with over 20 years of experience across various industries and countries. Primarily working with the Microsoft tech stack, he has a keen interest in data, backend design, DevOps, and analytics. Joel is passionate about promoting best practices in secure coding and automation. He enjoys improving development teams' processes and workflows while reducing technical debt.
An active speaker at conferences and meetups, Joel is currently freelancing from Spain. While currently pursuing his Master's degree part-time, Joel also holds several Microsoft Certifications in SQL Server and ASP.NET MVC.
