In this session, Iván from Object Computing, Inc. - the organization behind Micronaut and the Grails framework (https://objectcomputing.com/products) - will walk us through the basics of Micronaut. He will conduct a live coding session which will include the following topics.

• Things you can do with Micronaut!
• Creating an application from scratch
• Dependency injection
• Interacting with the HTTP client
• Writing tests
• Services discovery
• Integration with GraalVM native images
  ...and a few other cool modules!

Iván is a Senior Software Engineer at Object Computing, Inc (OCI). He has enormous personal contributions in design and development of the Micronaut framework. He is a JVM developer, a guest speaker, a Linux lover, and an organizer of the Groovy User Group - MadridGUG.
