Creating a Community Makerspace + 3d printing facility in Barcelona

We would like to launch a Maker space at MOB and we need your help. Whether you are interested in having access to such a facility, interested in volunteering your time to help us setup the maker space, have knowledge and skill to share, or simply wants to share your dough to help us take off with having the right tools and equipments, this is the meeting for you. If you know of anyone else interested in launching a maker space, please bring them along!!!

We will talk about the following:

1. Equipments and infrastuctures

What do we have already? (sewing machine, personal vinyl cutter) what other type of equipment do we need to setup a minimal maker space? 3d printers, carpentry tools, laser cutter, Do we build them ourselves (like reprap) or do we buy one (like Makerbot)? Where can we put it? Do we need to ask for a permit?

2. Budget and funding:

How much money do we need?

Where are we gonna get the money? Friends and family? Crowd funding? Membership fees?

3. Organization:

Once we have the machinery, how do we manage the space? Who "takes care" of it? Can other people have access to it? Maintenance Costs?
