WHY and how to become a Google Developer Expert

Hello web lovers,

As promised, Stories of the Web is coming in hot with a new and exciting event along with a fantastic new guest!

When: Thursday, the 17th of November, 6:30 pm at our main sponsor's headquarters, Anchor Plaza Bucharest - Adobe Offices - 6th floor. We'll share some food, drinks, and good spirit, and this time we will discuss what it takes to become a Google Developer Expert and the journey behind it.

Who is this for?
This is for all of you out there who want to know more about becoming a GDE:

• Software Engineers - tips and tricks on how to become a GDE from an actual GDE
• Students in terminal years, Fresh Graduates & Interns - get some inspiration & drive for what Google has to offer or how to become part of the Web Development community
• Well, everyone - come for some great networking, meeting new people, and interesting discussions

The topic this time will be WHY and HOW to become a Google Developer Expert, and our guest speaker will be Quique Fdez Guerra, Director of Engineering at Plain Concepts Romania, Frontend open source contributor, Google Developer Expert on Web Technologies, and also, a small NGO owner in the form of helpdev.org

To be a good professional in any field, we usually need to write, learn and teach others. Just doing our regular job is not enough. In this talk, Quique will tell us about a global network of highly experienced technical experts, influencers, and thought leaders of which you can also be part of. One key thing is that the most important factor will not be the end result, but the journey to achieve that goal.
