Our theme for May is CONFESSIONS!

Truths spoken aloud. Truths written and never sent. Truths confessed too late—or too early.

Give us stories of secrets revealed, apologies offered, feelings admitted, and words that changed the course of things. Confessions made out of love, fear, guilt, or necessity.

As always, interpret the theme freely.

📍 Where: Café El Noa Noa, C/Villarroel 71, Eixample
🕢 When: Wednesday, May 27th
Time: Doors at 19:00 — Stories from 19:30 to 21:30
💶 Free entry | Donations welcome

Please come just to listen or get on stage, be vulnerable, and share with us, a diverse group of welcoming and open people who are curious about each others' lives. Stories will last from 7 to 10 minutes. Expect ten stories plus an intermission.

Storytelling Barcelona is a completely free event run by volunteers. We welcome everyone to get on stage! Absolutely no experience is necessary.

We only ask that stories be true and personal and that they are performed as opposed to read—and they should be stories instead of philosophical musings, motivational speeches, or stand-up routines.

The content is completely at the discretion of the storyteller as long as it is related in the monthly theme and respectful to the diversity and experiences of all humans.

Interested in sharing a story? Spots are volunteer-based and given on a first come, first serve basis. Sign up through our form.

For any questions or concerns, reach out to us via DM! find us on Instagram @storytellingbarcelona

Bring some cash for the tip jar! We will always remain free because we want to be an event open to everyone! We do have a donation jar at the event that helps sustain the project, so bring some extra change and toss it in.

No RSVP needed to be part of the audience — just walk in, grab a seat, and join us for an evening of community, courage, and connection.

We also have a podcast if you want to enjoy stories from home called What Lingers. You can find it on all podcast platforms!
