I wanted to share some **concerns about Meetup.com**. They have a 1.2-star rating on Trustpilot, due to hundreds of complaints by organizers (such as myself) who are being illegally billed by meetup.com (i.e scammed), which you can see https://www.trustpilot.com/review/meetup.com. This is truly shocking as in my previous years of experience with them I've never had an issue, but now I have and have seen the shocking proof on trustpilot.

We maintain a small, select group to maximize individual attention and progress. To join us, simply click "Join the Group," answer a few questions, and you’ll be informed about your membership status. While the meetups are free, we encourage a minimal spend of 6 euros per person as a token of gratitude to our hosts, which allows us to enjoy their warm hospitality continually.
