One more year the Drupal Global Sprint Weekend is celebrated and for the first time it will also be celebrated in Malaga!

For those of you who never attended, it is about dedicating a day to contributing code. And if you do not have very clear how the Drupal issue queue works, better because you will learn it. Anyway, in the first part of the meeting we will explain the way a sprint works so that everyone can collaborate, even who has never participated in one. A list of simple issues is being prepared to try to make everyone participate.

The place is The Living Room Coworking in Calle Barroso 15 in the Soho area of ​​Malaga that very kindly gives us its locations for the event!

We take advantage from here to make an appeal to companies in the area if they want to collaborate by sponsoring a coffee for the attendees, the food or whatever they can think of.

What is a Sprint Weekend?

A Sprint Weekend is an event where during a weekend Drupal users from all over the world will join in a sprint to the Drupal 8 code. It is an excellent opportunity to contribute your bit in the construction of the new version of Drupal and at the same time share experiences with other developers with your same interests. Un año más se celebra el Drupal Global Sprint Weekend y por primera vez también se celebrará en Málaga!

Para los que no habéis estado nunca deciros se trata de dedicar un día a contribuir código. Y que si no tenéis muy claro como funciona la Issue queue de drupal, mejor porque así lo aprendéis. De todas formas, en la primera parte del encuentro se explicará el funcionamiento de un sprint para que todos puedan colaborar, incluso quién no haya participado nunca a uno. Se está preparando una lista de issues sencillas para intentar que todo el mundo pueda participar.

El lugar es The Living Room Coworking en Calle Barroso 15 en la zona del Soho de Málaga que muy amablemente nos concede sus locales para el evento!

Aprovechar desde aquí a hacer un llamamiento a las empresas de la zona por si quieren colaborar patrocinando un café para los asistentes, la comida o lo que se les ocurra.

¿Qué es un Sprint Weekend?

Un Sprint Weekend es un evento donde durante un fin de semana se unirán usuarios de Drupal de todo el mundo en un sprint al código de Drupal 8. Es una excelente oportunidad para aportar tu granito de arena en la construcción de la nueva versión de Drupal y al mismo tiempo compartir experiencias con otros desarrolladores y desarrolladoras con tus mismos intereses.
