Únete a nosotrxs para una tarde creativa y estimulante donde collage y poesía se encuentran, invitándonos a jugar con fragmentos, palabras encontradas y asociaciones inesperadas ✂️📜
En este encuentro exploraremos el collage no solo como técnica visual, sino también como forma de escritura poética, inspirándonos en el espíritu dadá y en la idea de Tristan Tzara de que la poesía puede construirse a partir de fragmentos del mundo: titulares, anuncios, frases sueltas, restos de lenguaje cotidiano.

Trabajaremos en una única sesión dividida en dos momentos:
una introducción suave y accesible a la poesía hecha con recortes, y una segunda parte donde profundizaremos en la composición, el ritmo visual y la disposición del texto en la página.

No hace falta experiencia previa — solo curiosidad y ganas de experimentar.

¿Qué exploraremos?
Collage poético con palabras encontradas
Utilizaremos periódicos y revistas para recortar palabras, frases y fragmentos de texto, combinándolos con imágenes para crear piezas poéticas visuales. Jugaremos con el azar, la yuxtaposición y el montaje, dejando que el sentido emerja del encuentro entre materiales.

Texto como imagen
En la segunda parte del taller, iremos un paso más allá: recortaremos letras individuales para construir palabras y frases con una disposición visual propia — en línea, en espiral, en diagonal o formando figuras simples. El lenguaje se vuelve materia, ritmo y forma.

El objetivo no es “escribir bien”, sino componer, probar, desmontar y volver a armar.

Nuestro Co-host:
Ignacio Perini (Argentina) es el artista de poesía oral en habla hispana con mayor cantidad de presentaciones en el mundo, habiendo recitado en más de 30 países y 200 ciudades de Europa y Latinoamérica. Sus libros han sido traducidos al inglés, rumano y estonio. En 2017 fue el representante argentino en la Copa Mundial de Poetry Slam, celebrada en París. Actualmente coordina el colectivo La Fragua Invisible, a través del cual fomenta la cultura de base y alternativa en Sevilla.

Join us for an inspiring creative afternoon where collage meets poetry, inviting us to play with fragments, found words, and unexpected connections ✂️📜

In this session, we will explore collage not only as a visual practice but also as a poetic writing method, inspired by Dada and by Tristan Tzara’s idea that poetry can be built from fragments of reality: headlines, advertisements, stray phrases, and everyday language.

The workshop will unfold in a single session with two moments:
a gentle introduction to poetry made from cut-up text, followed by a deeper exploration of composition, visual rhythm, and spatial arrangement of words on the page.

No previous experience needed — just curiosity and a willingness to experiment.

What will we explore?
Poetic collage with found text
Using newspapers and magazines, we will cut out words, phrases, and text fragments, combining them with images to create visual poetic pieces. We will work with chance, juxtaposition, and montage, allowing meaning to emerge through unexpected encounters.

Text as visual material
In the second part of the workshop, we will go a step further by cutting out individual letters to build words and phrases with a visual structure — straight lines, spirals, diagonals, or simple geometric forms. Language becomes material, rhythm, and shape.

The goal is not to “write well” but to compose, experiment, dismantle, and reassemble.

Our Co-host:
Ignacio Perini (Argentina) is the Spanish-speaking spoken word artist with the most performances worldwide, having recited in more than 30 countries and 200 cities in Europe and Latin America. His books have been translated into English, Romanian, and Estonian. In 2017, he represented Argentina at the Poetry Slam World Cup, held in Paris. He currently coordinates the La Fragua Invisible collective, through which he promotes grassroots and alternative culture in Seville.
