Sat Intermediate Ride | Montserrat | 130km x 2150m
Detalles
Hi everyone!
This Saturday we’re heading to one of the most iconic landscapes around Barcelona: Montserrat! With its jagged peaks and the famous monastery perched high above the valley, it’s a ride that combines challenging climbs with incredible views.
We’ll meet at Plaça Molina, 9am, and start with the gentle climb towards Vallvidrera, rolling down through La Floresta. After some flatter roads, we’ll tackle the more demanding climbs to Rellinars before finally conquering the monastery of Montserrat.
We’ll aim to stop for a coffee at the top ☕️ — but if the café is too crowded, we’ve got a Plan B in Monistrol, just a couple of kilometers downhill. The way back takes us through the (mostly downhill) Llobregat valley, cruising back into Barcelona. And, by popular demand, we’ll wrap it up with a well-deserved beer in Francesc Macià 🍺.
As always, we’ll keep a steady pace on the flats (might push a little here and there), then everyone opens up on the climbs. We regroup at the top or on the descents — and of course, at the café.
