Post-labor economy: rethinking prosperity when human labor has no value

Detalles
As AI and robotics rapidly advance, societies must confront a profound shift: what happens when human labor—both physical and mental—no longer sustains a livelihood? Post-labor Economy theory explores this transformation, arguing that as automation makes necessity-driven work obsolete, economies must evolve toward broader forms of property-based income, decentralized power, and new mechanisms of distribution.
This perspective reimagines the social contract and the roles of governments, businesses, consumers, and financial institutions. Central to postlabor economics are decentralization, automation, and innovative systems for sharing income and economic influence. The goal is to envision a future where prosperity and human agency are secured without dependence on wage labor.
