Letting Go: A gentle improv workshop for introverts

Detalles
We’re excited to be collaborating with the fantastic Valencia Improv Playground for a special workshop designed just for our community.
Do you often feel the need to plan, control, or overthink everything you say or do? This playful, supportive workshop is designed especially for introverts who want to explore what happens when we loosen our grip — and trust ourselves a little more.
Through simple, beginner-friendly improv games and exercises (no stage or performance involved!), you'll gently practice how to:
- Speak more freely without second-guessing yourself
- Embrace mistakes as opportunities for creativity
- Be present and open, even when things feel uncertain
- Trust your intuition and connect with others in a relaxed, authentic way
You don’t need any experience with improv, acting, or public speaking — just curiosity and a willingness to explore at your own pace. This is not about being loud or outgoing — it’s about creating a safe space to experiment, laugh, and discover new sides of yourself.
Come as you are. You might be surprised by how much freedom — and fun — you can find when you let go of control.
Who's the host?
After a decade doing improv and her Master’s Degree in Applied Theater, Rocío Barquilla is in love with the art of spontaneity on stage as a form of entertainment, personal development and innovation! She found a community of like-minded and open-hearted people in improv, and she is never looking back!
Inexplicably funny, emotionally available and socially introverted. Rocío loves exploring the unknown through acceptance and trust, whether it implies comedy, longform, freeform, abstract, sensitive improv or life.
