Llega poco a poco la muy esperada primavera con sus alergias y actuaciones hormonales… Existe un fantástico rincón en la cara norte del Cadí que se llena cada abril del así llamado azafrán de primavera, para crear junto con las escarpadas murallas de la sierra una de las postales más gloriosas de toda la Cerdanya. Este increíble prado situado a 1.826 m de altitud es el testimonio de una herencia glaciar que dejó atrás un cúmulo de sedimentos propicios para la biodiversidad. Iremos a descubrir el Prat de Cadí espaldado por un espectacular anfiteatro mineral y sus cimas: Costa Cabirolera, la Roca Verda, el canal de Cristall, la roca del Ordiguer… Después del diálogo con la inmensidad, hay la opcion de ir a conocer una formatgeria de montaña, sus cabras y descubrir cómo es la vida en una granja a 1600 metros de altitud. Y, por supuesto, lo mejor para el final: una mini cata de quesos que sabe aún mejor después de la aventura. Option 1 (and the one I'll be seeing) is the top-reviewed comedy-drama, THE CHRISTOPHERS! The film is set in the art world and follows the estranged children of a former artist who hire a forger. It is directed by Steven Soderberg, stars Ian McKellen and Michaela Coel and has been earning rave reviews on the indie circuit. Option 2 is the latest action-thriller starring Bob Odenkirk, NORMAL! The film follows a temporary small-town sheriff who uncovers dark mysteries after a local bank robbery. Join us as we get together to get together to help those in need at this CMG Gives Back event! We have a great little community of Movie Group friends so rather than see a movie this time, we’ll help “create a better world” by helping serve those in need. Here are complete details and our plan for this event: FAITH MISSION – GRANT KITCHEN: The Faith Mission kitchen and dining room serves residents 3 meals a day, every day of the year. For this event, our group will help prepare food, serve meals, assist residents in the dining room, wash dishes, and clean surfaces. PLAN: We will be preparing / serving / cleaning for BRUNCH from 10:30am to 12:30pm and have space for a total of 7 volunteers. Please arrive at 10:20am and wear closed-toe shoes and long pants. LOCATION: Faith Mission – Grant Kitchen is located at 245 N. Grant Ave. Enter the kitchen at Dock 1 (in the back of the building), indicated in the attached map. On-site parking in the adjacent lot and street parking is available in the surrounding area.
