En aquesta ocasió anem a la inauguració de l'exposició *“Un gran fracàs”* que el museu Can Framis dedica de manera retrospectiva a l’artista Gonçal Sobrer, nascut al barri del Poblenou de Barcelona el 1932. La mostra reuneix gairebé dues-centes obres, moltes d’elles inèdites, d’un creador singular que ha convertit el fracàs en el sentit de la seva pròpia trajectòria artística. Una trajectòria que desafia els convencionalismes a través de l’humor i la crítica punyent. L’obra de Sobrer s’articula a través de diferents llenguatges: pintura, objectes, instal·lacions, *happening* i *performances*, així com teatre, fotografia i cinema. A mitjans de la dècada dels 60 realitza una sèrie de pintures d’un expressionisme lleig al qual anomenarà “Art Xava” (de chabacano). L’any 1965 promou a la Casa de Jubilats del Poblenou el que es considera el primer *happening* de Catalunya i de l’Estat espanyol. El 1966 realitza la performance pionera *“Dansa de l'afusellament”*, rememorant a les persones afusellades al Camp de la Bota entre 1939 i 1952. Aquesta obra és per dret propi pràcticament l’única que se li ha reconegut a l’artista (les fotografies de la *performance* van ser comprades per la Generalitat el 2023). El 1978 es disfressà a la Rambla de Barcelona del pintor Santiago Rusiñol i es posà a pintar pollastres rostits i paelles. Abans, el 1976, va organitzar una exposició per presentar el seu *“Retaule del Santet del Poble Nou”* donant-li el caràcter d’obra pòstuma, cosa que ha provocat, anys més tard, que en algunes ocasions se l’hagi donat per mort el 1975, cosa que no és certa. La seva trajectòria professional passa per la creació i regència des de 1958 de l’Hotel Romàntic de Sitges, considerat un museu més de la vila, després d’obrir les seves portes en anys llunyans a la comunitat gai internacional. Vamos a visitar el estudio de Sarah Bevin, artista visual inglesa que vive y trabaja en el barrio barcelonés del Poble Sec. La mayor parte de su trabajo está realizado sobre papel, de diversos tamaños, utilizando una combinación de técnicas y materiales, como el *collage,* la acuarela, el gouache, el pastel suave, el carboncillo o la tinta, que dotan a sus obras de múltiples texturas y contrastes. El uso del *collage* proporciona tridimensionalidad a sus piezas y le permite a la artista experimentar con patrones y formas. A menudo, sus obras se basan en la interacción de las personas con el mundo natural: una relación simbiótica hermosa, pero frágil, cuya presencia se ha vuelto cada vez más importante en su trabajo. I'll be waiting for you outside the MACBA (The Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art). From there, we'll take a walk to CCCB (The Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona), which has a café and co-working space. Once we get there, we'll ask for coffee/tea and get ready to embark on our creative journey! The art-making process will serve as a bridge for social and creative communication, and the theme will be centered around traveling and the things that make us vibrate. We'll start by using imagery, storytelling, and moving freely between drawing and writing to collage. We'll also work collaboratively, with each collaborator adding to a composition in sequence, allowing creativity to flow as we play. The main objective is self-expression, awakening creativity, having fun, and sharing a nice time together while colors and words come together to empower the artistic experience. I will guide you in the right direction to create something that you may have never thought of on your own, and you can take your own pace with art and bring it back home. The aim of this art workshop is to enhance your own creativity and self-expression. I will provide all the art materials, and the cost is 25 euros for a maximum of four people for a one-hour-long session. An individual session costs 40 euros.
