Friday night Brazilian zouk dance class followed by socialising, drinks and practice dance. A fun dance class 7.30-9 pm where you'll meet lots of first-time dancers and get to know everyone before dancing the night away and socialising. There is a discount for the beginner's class! We support the runners doing the London Marathon. It's a fun day out drumming. You can find us outside the Shadwell Centre. We meet at 9am to collect drums from the cars. The location on the cars will be shared with members. We then set up and stay in the same spot all day. You are welcome to come and go as you please. It's a good chance to improve or try a different drum.

That’s English Country Dancing, the predecessor of contra dancing. Now, add moves like “swing your partner” and “do-si-do,” like you’ve seen in square dancing. Set it to fabulous, high energy, live music with fiddles, guitars, percussion and more, alá “Riverdance.” Finally, set the whole scene down in the middle of Woodstock, with a hip, groovy atmosphere, a bit of tie-dye, and hints of counter-culture attitude.
