Welcome to the **Art Therapy Circle** – a small, supportive space for creative healing and self-expression through art.
This group is for adults interested in exploring art therapy in a safe, non-judgmental setting. No artistic experience is needed. We focus on the *process*, not the final result. You don’t need to be “good at art”—just come with curiosity and openness.
We meet once a month at the beautiful **Tandem Studios**, a calm and inspiring space in central Barcelona. Each session is guided by **Valentina Freifeld**, certified art therapist and founder of Creative & Wellness.

Arty Sunday: Helen Levitt at KBr
Los Arty Sunday han vuelto! Y para el primero del 2026 vamos a la exposición de Helen Levit! El plan es ver la exhibición y luego, si te apetece, tomar algo por la zona.
Helen Levitt (1913-2009) comenzó a fotografiar su Nueva York natal a finales de la década de 1930, con imágenes que reflejaban la vida en los barrios más pobres, y sobre todo los niños y sus juegos en las calles. Lo hizo con un infalible instinto para reflejar, más allá de las escenas infantiles, todo lo que la vida cotidiana contiene de emoción, enigma o humor. Su obra obtuvo pronto el reconocimiento que merecía y ya en 1943 el MOMA de Nueva York organizó su primera exposición individual. A lo largo de su carrera prestaría también gran atención al medio cinematográfico.
Artista socialmente comprometida, Levitt fue una de las primeras mujeres en abrirse camino profesionalmente en la fotografía. La exposición (cerca de 200 fotografías organizadas en 9 secciones) ofrece un completo recorrido por el conjunto de su trayectoria.

**How does the event work?**
* **Welcome** → Guests arrive and register. Hosts welcome you. You will receive a sticker to write your name and stick it on your chest. This will help to remember all names. You will also have a pen and a sheet of paper just exclusively for you where you need to write the names of all the dates you will have and comments just for yourself. At the end of the event it is important that you scan the first QR CODE on your sheet and there will have to fill in your contact information: name, phone number, instagram, mail... and the name of the three people you like the most (It is a good idea to write all the names in the sheet as long as we are having the dates, and at the end just crossed out all except for the 3 we like the most). In the form we will also appreciate your feedback either good or negative to improve the event. You can grab a drink, nip the loo and relax in the indicated area. We ask the girls to come 15 minutes earlier than guys to start sitting them. In general we organise two groups divided by age range, but it depends on the number of participants. During the rounds a waiter/waitress will come just in case you need a refill!
* **Rounds Begin** → Each participant has a mini-date (7 minutes) with another person.
* **Rotation** → At the signal (host announcement or gong), the guys move to the next partner. The rotation is always counterclockwise direction so you need to move to your left side. Boys will be stand up 30 seconds to take notes and girls will remain sitting in same position.
* **Half-break** → There is no half-break but if you want to pause, just ask the host if you can skip a round of 7 minutes so you can order drinks or food, go to the can or just relax at the garden.
* **End of Rounds** → At the end we usually gather at the garden to have a drink. Like this you still have time to talk to people and make your decision.
* **Fill the sheet** → Participants indicate who they’d like to see again. Maximum 3 names. It is important to scan the first QR code in your sheet to fill the form. We could increase the number of names voted but here we are **looking for the real sparkle. You have until monday at 18h to vote!**
* **Results** → **On tuesday morning**, the organizer shares mutual matches privately after the event by Meetup message. If you get a match, you will receive your match's contact information.
In order to create a good atmosphere it's very important that in your profile you have a clear picture of you. If you do not have a picture of yourself, you will be kindly moved to waiting list. Even if you see waiting list try to get enrolled as I Will be accepting to keep a balance men/women. It helps to create a better ambience.

# **¿Cómo funciona el evento?**
### **Bienvenida**
Los participantes llegan y se registran. Los anfitriones os darán la bienvenida.
Recibirás una pegatina para escribir tu nombre y pegarla en el pecho (ayuda a recordar los nombres).
También tendrás un **bolígrafo y una hoja** exclusiva para ti donde escribirás los nombres de tus citas y tus comentarios personales.
Al final del evento es **muy importante** escanear el **primer QR** de tu hoja para rellenar el formulario con tu:
* nombre
* número de teléfono
* Instagram
* correo electrónico
* **los tres nombres** de las personas que más te han gustado
*(Es buena idea escribir todos los nombres durante las citas y al final tachar todos excepto los 3 que más te gusten.)*
En ese formulario también puedes dejar tu feedback para mejorar el evento.
Mientras esperas puedes pedir una bebida, ir al baño y relajarte en la zona indicada.
Pedimos a las chicas que lleguen **15 minutos antes** para poder sentarlas antes de que lleguen los chicos.
Generalmente organizamos dos grupos por rangos de edad, dependiendo del número de participantes.
Durante las rondas, un camarero pasará por si necesitáis pedir algo.

### **Inicio de rondas**
Cada participante tiene una mini-cita de **7 minutos** con otra persona.
### **Rotación**
A la señal del anfitrión (campana o gong), **los chicos se mueven** a la siguiente mesa.
La rotación es siempre en **sentido antihorario** (te mueves hacia tu izquierda).
Los chicos se levantan 30 segundos para tomar notas; las chicas permanecen sentadas.
### **Pausa**
No hay pausa general, pero si quieres descansar una ronda de 7 minutos, puedes pedir al anfitrión saltarte una ronda para pedir bebida, comida, ir al baño o relajarte en el jardín.
### **Fin de rondas**
Al terminar, normalmente nos reunimos en el jardín para tomar algo. Así puedes seguir hablando y tomar tu decisión final.
### **Rellenar la hoja**
Indica los nombres de **máximo 3 personas** que te gustaría volver a ver.
Escanea el **primer QR** y rellena el formulario. Podríamos ampliar a más nombres pero aquí realmente **estamos buscando la chispa real**, por eso el límite es de 3 nombres máximo a votar. Se podrá votar hasta el lunes a las 18h.

El **martes por la mañana**, el organizador enviará los **matches mutuos** de forma privada por mensaje de Meetup.

# **Normas importantes**
* Es fundamental que en tu perfil tengas **una foto clara de ti**.
Si no tienes foto, te moveremos a la lista de espera.
* Aunque veas lista de espera, apúntate igualmente: ajustamos para mantener **equilibrio chicos/chicas**.
* Si te inscribes y pagas pero no puedes venir, debes informarnos **48 horas antes del evento**.
En caso contrario, no habrá reembolso ni cambio de fecha.
* Debes respetar el código de conducta estándar y la educación con todo el mundo. La organización se reserva el derecho de expulsar del evento inmediatamente a quién esté incumpliendo las normas. The idea behind improv is to create entire scenes from scratch based on a suggestion from the audience. This can be done in game form, like *Whose Line Is It Anyway*, *ComedySportz*, or *Wild 'n Out*; it could also be done to tell stories, like *Middleditch and Schwartz*. Our meetup, which is central Ohio's longest running (and free!) weekly comedy event, brings the games (and occasionally different forms) for you to play in a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment. Not only is it a lot of fun, but you get to work on thinking faster on your feet, plus it's an excellent way to meet new people and make friendships that'll last a lifetime!

CELEBRATING DIANE KEATON: The film is part of the Drexel's “Starring Diane Keaton,” program, which celebrates the life of the legendary actress in January.
BUZZ & ACCLAIM: ANNIE HALL was nominated for five Academy Awards, winning four: Best Picture, Best Director. Best Original Screenplay and Best Actress for Diane Keaton. It also won 4 BAFTAs (Best Film, Best Director, Best Screenplay and Best Actress) and a Golden Globes Best for Best Actress – Motion Picture Comedy or Musical for Diane Keaton. It is regarded as the greatest comedy films ever made and ranks 31st on AFI's list of the 100 greatest films in American cinema, 4th on their list of the greatest comedy films and 28th on Bravo's "100 Funniest Movies." Speak Easy: true stories, told live.
The idea is simple: an audience, an open microphone, and great stories. Hilarious, gripping, poignant- it's up to you. Audiences are invited to come to listen or come to tell as folks from all corners of Columbus offer their stories live on stage! Held at Wild Goose Creative's warm, intimate space, this night of tales occurs on the 3rd Thursday of every month. Doors open at 7:00 pm, show starts at 7:30 pm. Please arrive early if you want to tell, as we generally only have room for a limited number of tellers, and the sign-up sheet has a tendency to fill up fast.
Formed around the idea that people need stories--they're what hold and draw us together--SpeakEasy celebrates the strangeness and commonness of being human. And in a world of smartphones, Facebook, Twitter, and more . . . it gives people a real, breathing, in-person way to connect.
The night is geared for true stories of all kinds, taking the best tales told around kitchen tables, in darkened pubs, on the street corner, and at late-night parties and giving them an audience. Speak Easy is also a great outlet for performers, writers, and artists looking to share their favorite stories and perfect their skills. We strongly encourage tellers to please tell the story rather than read it so we keep within the spirit of good storytelling and stay engaged with the audience. All are welcome. Hang around after the show for a drink and build community!

Join us as we get together to see the winner of the Best International Film at TIFF and a triple Golden Globe nominee: NO OTHER CHOICE! This top-reviewed dark comedy satirical thriller follows a man devises a unique plan to secure a new job: eliminate his competition. Here’s a description, trailer and plan for this event:
DESCRIPTION: The film follows a desperate paper industry expert who decides to kill off his competition to be assured of the job he seeks to maintain his way of life. The film is co-written / produced / directed by Park Chan-wook and is based on The Ax by Donald Westlake. It stars Lee Byung-hun, Son Ye-jin, Park Hee-soon, Lee Sung-min, Yeom Hye-ran, and Cha Seung-won.

BUZZ & ACCLAIM: The film premiered to rave reviews as the Venice International Film Festival and later at the Toronto Film Festival where it won the International People’s Choice Award! It just received 3 Golden Globe nominations for Best Picture (Musical or Comedy), Best Foreign Language Film and Best Actor for Lee Byung-hun. It was also selected as the South Korean entry (and likely nominee) for Best International Film at this year’s Academy Awards!

Shut Up & Write!® South Side Columbus
Join us for an hour of writing! We’ve discovered that it’s strikingly helpful to write with other writers. See if it’s true for you at 7:00pm the second & fourth Wednesday of every month at Two Dollar Radio Headquarters (HQ).
Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done.

**OPTIONAL SOCIALIZING** happens around 6:45pm. Writing is very solitary. Connecting (and sometimes even commiserating) with other writers is a cool thing.

Whatever you need to be able to write! Other customers are welcome at Two Dollar HQ at the time, so please bring earplugs/headphones if noise will bother you!
**OTHER IMPORTANT DETAILS:**
* **RSVP:** Please RSVP by 6:00pm the evening of the meeting. This helps me know how many to expect, and if we'll need additional space!
* **COVID:** While masks are not required, please be mindful of the other writers around you and their comfort levels.
* **ACCESSIBILITY:** Two Dollar Radio HQ's entrance door on Cline Street is wheelchair accessible, they have two gender-neutral bathrooms that are both wheelchair accessible, and their ordering and table-seating area is as well. Working service dogs are allowed.
* **WIFI/OUTLETS:** Outlets are limited, so please ensure your devices are charged when you come! But Two Dollar Radio HQ does have free WiFi! Yay!
* **PARKING:** There is free public street parking on all surrounding streets, on both sides of Parsons Ave. You are also welcome to park in the Columbus Metropolitan Library parking lot across the street (1113 Parsons Ave). Two Dollar Radio HQ has a bike rack on the corner of Cline and Parsons, and the library has bike parking (across Parsons).
* **FOOD/BEVERAGE:** Two Dollar Radio HQ is a bar and vegan cafe. Their food is 100% vegan and made from scratch, with love.
