This group is for people who don't feel their German is strong enough for the Deutsch Sprechen Stammtisch. Anyone from complete beginner to native German speaker is welcome. All you need is a willingness to learn and speak German (or as much German as you can) and a willingness to help and be patient with other people who have less German than you have. The aim of this group is to build the confidence as well as ability to speak German in real life situations with others. Kunst, Kaffee, Kuchen: Was gibt es nicht zu mögen? Wir treffen uns um 15:00 in der 81 Leonard Gallery in Manhattan und sehen uns die Ausstellung "Mein Volk" von Künstlerin Hannah Eve Rothbard an. Das Thema der Austellung ist die Neugeburt und Gemeindeaufbau der deutschen jüdischen Gemeinschaft. Nachher holen wir uns Kaffee und Kuchen im "787 Coffee" gleich um die Ecke. Art, coffee, cake: what's not to like? We'll meet at 3:00pm at 81 Leonard Gallery in Manhattan to see the exhibition "Mein Volk" by artist Hannah Eve Rothbard. The theme of the exhibition is the regeneration of and community building in the German Jewish community. Afterwords, we'll get coffee and cake in "787 Coffee" right around the corner.
