## (Lesson 2) ## What to expect Project Equilibrium is an in-person introduction to disciplined, rule-based trading automation. This first event is designed to be clear, practical, and approachable—no hype, no pressure, and no prior technical background required. ### Why we meet (two-session structure) This meetup is structured as **two lessons**: **Lesson 1 — The “Why” (mindset + framework)** * What Project Equilibrium is (and what it is not) * Why we focus on process, rules, and execution discipline * What “24/7 execution” means in practice * Q&A and open discussion **Lesson 2 — The “How” (step-by-step setup)** * A simple walkthrough of the basic tools you need * Step-by-step guidance to install and prepare the required exchange apps/accounts * A clear checklist to be ready for future sessions (You won’t be left alone—everything is explained calmly and in order.) ### What to bring To make the second lesson smooth, please bring: * **A smartphone** (for authentication and exchange app setup) * **A laptop** (for the setup steps and configuration) If you only have one device, you can still join Lesson 1. From the valley station Alt St Johann we can take the funicular to Alp Sellamatt. Here we will start with a coffee before heading out on the circular Winter Hike number 2 - Der Sagenweg. We walk on prepared winter hiking trails for around 3 hours, returning to the restaurant for something to eat before heading back to Alt St Johann to the car or train. Non-members are always invited to attend our events! This is a wonderful opportunity to experience what we have to offer and see if our club is the right fit for you. Wir verbringen einen offenen, warmen Nachmittag, an dem Kreativität, Begegnung und Verbundenheit im Mittelpunkt stehen. Wie immer geht es nicht um Können oder Leistung, sondern ums Dasein, Ausprobieren und Miteinander. Egal ob du schon einmal dabei warst oder ganz neu dazukommst – du bist herzlich willkommen.👉 **Komm vorbei, bring dich ein – oder sei einfach da.** *Ungefährer Ablauf Kreativthema:* **🌸 Ankommen & Impulskarten** Zum Start nehmen wir uns einen Moment zum Ankommen. Wenn du möchtest, wählst du eine Impulskarte – eine kleine Einladung, im Übergang zwischen Winter und Aufbruch kurz bei dir zu sein oder ein Gespräch entstehen zu lassen. Nicht selten bringt sie ein Schmunzeln, einen Gedanken oder einen warmen Moment mit sich. **❄️ Risse im Eis & Licht gestalten** Papier ist unser Ausgangspunkt. Es kann gerissen, gefaltet oder in mehreren Lagen übereinander geschichtet werden – ganz frei, einzeln oder kombiniert. Die entstehenden Risse dürfen an Eis erinnern: feine Linien, Brüche, Übergänge. Sie werden nicht repariert, sondern durch Verzierungen betont – etwa mit hellen Linien, Garn oder Goldtönen. Licht darf hineinkommen: sichtbar, ruhig, ohne etwas schliessen zu müssen. Danach legen wir die entstandenen Arbeiten gemeinsam in die Mitte – Fragmente und Übergänge, nebeneinander, ruhig und offen. **☕ Pause – Tee, Kaffee & Austausch** Während der Pause machen wir es uns bei Tee und Kaffee gemütlich. Gespräche dürfen weiterklingen oder neu auftauchen – über alles, was gerade da ist. Die Pause öffnet dafür nur einen zusätzlichen, entspannten Raum. **🎨 Weiterentwickeln** Nach der Pause nimmt jede Person ihr Werk wieder zu sich und lässt die Gestaltung weiterfliessen – so, wie es im Moment stimmig ist. **💫 Gemeinsamer Abschluss** Zum Ende legen wir die Arbeiten ein zweites Mal zusammen und nehmen wahr, was sich zeigt. Ein gemeinsames Bild eines Übergangs. **🖌️ Mitbringen** Material ist vor Ort vorhanden. Eigene Lieblingsfarben, Stifte, Kreiden, Papier und diverse Utensilien können gerne mitgebracht werden. Dale Gnidovec, Curator of the Orton Hall Museum of Geology at The Ohio State University, will be presenting a program he has wanted to share with us for a long time: Plate Tectonics. His description of his program: Continents on the move - Nothing in Earth history makes sense without moving continents - it tells us why mountains, volcanoes, minerals, and fossils are where they are. This talk examines the evidence for continental drift, why it was disbelieved, and explains how the more-encompassing theory of plate tectonics was developed and eventually proven. Dale is an energetic, incredibly knowledgeable, and very entertaining speaker and this will be another wonderful program by Dale. Hope to see you there! Food and drinks will be provided at the event.
