Pacher Tibor, a Puli Space Technologies vezetője elmondja. A Hold után egy másik nagyon aktuális témáról, az inváziós fajok és kártevők által jelentett kihívásról hallhattok a HUN-REN Ökológiai Kutatóközpont kutatójától, Halassy Melindától. Egyik sem őshonos a Kárpát-medencében, ám újabban gyorsan terjednek. Az inváziós fajok megjelenése ma már alapvetően formálja környezetünket, és kihívást jelent a természet, a gazdaság és az emberi egészség számára is. A folyamat teljesen nem állítható meg, hiszen a globalizáció és az emberi mobilitás folyamatosan új fajok megjelenésének kedvez. Ugyanakkor a terjedés üteme lassítható, a hatások mérsékelhetők, ami időt ad a természetnek és a társadalomnak az alkalmazkodásra. Hazai példákon keresztül bemutatjuk, hogyan zajlik az inváziós folyamat, és hol miképpen lehet még hatékonyan beavatkozni, hogy időt nyerjünk az alkalmazkodáshoz.
