**Ens trobarem a les onze del matí (11:00 h), a la boca de metro de l’estació BARCELONETA (L-4 groga).**
Per tal d’aconseguir que les comunicacions entre nosaltres siguin més àgils, es crearà un grup de WhatsApp exclusivament per a aquesta trobada, que s’obrirà unes hores abans i es tancarà unes hores després de la trobada.

Això és una trobada de gent interessada en la fotografia urbana, de carrer, una trobada de gent interessada en les ciutats, en les persones que hi viuen i en les activitats que s’hi fan.
Passejarem pels carrers de la ciutat a la recerca de les coses que ens puguin agradar, interessar, sorprendre, anirem a la recerca de la bellesa.
Al mateix temps, la trobada també ens permetrà conèixer gent amb la mateixa afició que nosaltres i podrem intercanviar idees, impressions i coneixements.
No cal portar un gran equip, n’hi haurà prou amb una càmera petita que ens permeti passar desapercebuts i no ser gaire invasius.
Cadascú podrà fer servir la tècnica fotogràfica que més li convingui en cada moment.
Tothom és benvingut, gent de totes les edats, des de principiants fins a experts.

**"An Evening with DXO Labs (NIK Collection 8)"**
For many, many years, the NIK Collection of photo editing tools has been the coveted add-on of choice for many photographers. To know the story of the NIK Collection is to know happiness, angst, celebration, and innovation. But more of that at the meeting!
I will spend a couple of hours going through the most useful tools in the NIK Collection and showing how I use them in my editing workflow. If you aspire to elevate your editing skills and produce better-edited images, this set of tools is worth a look!

Previous Photoshoot Images (iPhone images and Christmas Cards). If anyone has images they would like critiqued, please provide them at the beginning of the meeting.
Providing Images for Critique:
For now, I will collect images at the beginning of the meeting on a USB memory stick. My computer has USB-C ports, so a USB-C memory stick or one with dual (USB-C / USB-A) ports will be needed.
Images should follow these format rules:
JPG - 80% quality or higher
132 dpi resolution
2048 pixels across the long edge
Embedded colorspace - sRGB

The Photoshop Bootcamp workshop is a hands-on workshop, and example files and materials are made available to each participant. Each participant is required to have a computer available for use throughout the workshop. That computer must be adequately configured to run the latest version of Photoshop available in Adobe's Creative Cloud software suite (as of the time of this document, that version is Photoshop 2025 (Version 26.9.0)). The Photoshop Bootcamp workshop is an intensive training course designed to quickly teach participants the fundamentals and intermediate skills needed to use Adobe Photoshop effectively. This workshop condenses the material covered in introductory and intermediate Photoshop courses into a shorter, information-packed weekend.
Participants will learn to navigate the Photoshop workspace, use tools for retouching and color correction, and manipulate layers and adjustment layers. The workshop also emphasizes practical, hands-on experience with real-world image editing and compositing projects.
