Hey folks, WE ARE BACK AGAIN! This Badminton meet-up is for ALL levels: beginners - advanced - experts. Everyone is welcome to join and test their skills and have some fun together. The organiser will reserve courts in advance - PLEASE ONLY REGISTER IF YOU REALLY PLAN TO COME (OR CANCEL ASAP IF SOMETHING CAME UP) SO WE HAVE CORRECT NUMBERS. Late cancelation (before 24 hours) or no show would be asked to pay. We are meeting at about 6:50 pm near the reception by the lounge. Come a bit earlier so you have time to change into workout/sports clothes. Also, bring clean indoor sports shoes and a water bottle with you. The organiser will be at the club about 10 min. ahead of time and pay for all - please pay the organiser after/before the event!! Cost is 22€ per court, the fee should be around 6€. It is possible to rent rackets from the club, if necessary (3€). Sometimes members have spare rackets - please ask. Enjoy!

Join us as we dive into classic Austrian card games like **Tarock**, **Schnapsen**, and other favorites. Join us for our regular Tuesday evening playing Padel. **How we play** Intermediate and Advanced Players are welcome (no beginners on Tuesday, please join us on Friday or Sunday instead). Number of courts depends on the number of players * 4-7 players: one court * 8-11 players: two courts * 12-15 players: three courts Ideally, 6, 10 or 14 players are attending * Then you play two matches in a row and then take a break * A match is played in a single set. First team reaching four games wins the match. We play a minimum of six games per set (means even after 4:0 you still play two more games in this set) If an odd number of players are attending, we adapt to the situation Teams are mixed all the time. So you will play with/against different players during the event * Teams are put together based on their skill level * We focus on having balanced teams **Price** * 10 € for 1h * 17 € for 2h * If you need a racket, you can rent it from us for 2 € (limited number available). Otherwise you can always rent from the venue for 5 € * We use the money to cover the courts rent, base-subscription for renting, providing balls and rackets **Cancellation** * Please cancel at least 4h before the event. Otherwise you have to pay the fee for one hour * We understand that sometimes unexpected things can come up. However, not showing up and failing to let us know is considered disrespectful and goes against our community spirit. The organiser will be at the club about 5 min. ahead of time and pay for everyone - please bring if possible exact change and pay the organiser after the event! The fee for this event is 6€. It is possible to rent rackets from the club, if necessary (3€). Sometimes members have spare rackets - please ask in the comment section below! Short North Street Skates return Saturday, April 4 and we’re excited to get back rolling together. These weekly rollouts are a chance to move through the city as a group, build community, and create more visibility for skating and small-wheeled movement in Columbus. Details: Meet: 1160 N High St 9:30 AM meet 10:00 AM rollout All wheels welcome We’ll be skating through the Short North and surrounding areas at a steady, social pace. Routes will use a mix of streets and bike lanes, so comfort navigating the city is helpful, but you don’t need to be an expert. If you’ve been meaning to come out, this is a great place to start. Come solo or bring a friend!

We'll hike 3.4 miles on the Killdeer and Yellowlegs Trails - both out and back gravel trails. If we want more mileage we can repeat an out and back. Pace of around 3.5 mph, no one left behind and those who want to go faster sure can! As always optional lunch after. This is the second Metro Park in the lineup for me - with 21 to go (plus more are being added).
