¿Te gustaría eliminar de tu cabeza todo lo que te limita? ¿Te gustaría estar más alegre y atraer la abundancia a tu vida? “Todo en la vida viene a mí con facilidad, alegría y gloria”. Los pensamientos son una forma de energía que tienen carga eléctrica. Cuando pensamos mucho nuestro cerebro se sobrecarga, lo que hace que éste se encuentre en una frecuencia de ondas Beta. Este tipo de frecuencia nos bloquea, dificulta enormemente la relajación y eleva el nivel de estrés con los problemas que todo esto conlleva. Access Bars es una técnica de aplicación manual que consigue, mediante unos suaves toques en ciertos puntos específicos de la cabeza, que las ondas cerebrales cambien, pasando de ondas Beta (estado de vigilia) a ondas Theta o Delta (estados de relajación profunda). ¿Pero es sólo eso Access Bars? Access Bars es un proceso que activa 32 barras energéticas situadas en la cabeza. Cada una de estas barras contiene información sobre determinadas áreas de la vida (dinero, control, creatividad, poder, sexualidad, cuerpo, envejecimiento, alegría, tristeza, etc.). La información que dichas barras contienen son los puntos de vista que has ido creando y haciendo significativos a lo largo de tu existencia y que, de una forma u otra, te mantienen anclado y te impiden mejorar en algún aspecto de tu vida. Al ser estimuladas, las barras comienzan a descargarse y eliminar información (carga eléctrica). Se trata, literalmente, de formatear nuestro cerebro, como si de un disco duro se tratase. ¿Significa eso que perderás información valiosa para ti? ¿que olvidarás nombres, datos importantes o recuerdos vitales? PARA NADA. Access Bars no borra ese tipo de información, llamémosla objetiva, sino que, por ejemplo, hará desaparecer puntos de vista, percepciones como “los hombres son malos” o “hay que sufrir para conseguir lo que se quiere” seas consciente de ellas o no. Estas ideas asentadas en tu mente están limitando tu capacidad de recibir mucho más de esta vida. ¿Y qué se siente después de que esas barras sean activadas en una sesión de Access Bars? El primer síntoma suele ser una relajación profunda como casi nunca antes se ha experimentado. Muchas personas se duermen durante la sesión, otras entran en un estado de entresueño, en el que parecen dormidas pero están conscientes. En este estado de la mente, el inconsciente comienza a soltar y eliminar la basura acumulada durante años de forma suave y placentera. El segundo síntoma suele ser una sensación de paz y claridad mental, muy poco común para la mayoría de las personas. En los días siguientes a la sesión te envuelve un sentimiento de mayor seguridad y confianza en ti mismo, mayor creatividad, más soltura y alegría a la hora de relacionarte, y más placer y dinamismo en cuanto a lo físico se refiere. ¿Y a todo el mundo le pasa lo mismo? No, esto es lo que la mayoría describimos, en algunos casos la experiencia ha sido incluso mejor ¿Quieres saber qué más sucede tras una sesión? Los pensamientos limitantes y juicios que habitaban tu cabeza comienzan a desaparecer. Dejas de actuar en función del pasado o del miedo al futuro para vivir plenamente conectado con el presente. Lo que antes creías que era difícil o imposible sucede con menos o ningún esfuerzo de tu parte. Las posibilidades infinitas empiezan a mostrarse en tu vida y por primera vez en años vuelves a tener posibilidad de elección (real), no de elegir en base a tus pensamientos o sentimientos viejos y obsoletos que te limitaban, sino en base a tu conocimiento del momento presente. Access Bars es el inicio de un cambio de paradigma y una forma diferente de obrar en el mundo. Resulta tan fácil que parece mentira, lo sé, y tan profundo que deja boquiabierto a más de una persona, pero cuando lo experimentes entenderás de lo que hablo. Here are complete details and our plan for this event: FAITH MISSION – GRANT KITCHEN: The Faith Mission kitchen and dining room serves residents 3 meals a day, every day of the year. For this event, our group will help prepare food, serve meals, assist residents in the dining room, wash dishes, and clean surfaces. PLAN: We will be preparing / serving / cleaning for BRUNCH from 10:30am to 12:30pm and have space for a total of 7 volunteers. Please arrive at 10:20am and wear closed-toe shoes and long pants. LOCATION: Faith Mission – Grant Kitchen is located at 245 N. Grant Ave. Enter the kitchen at Dock 1 (in the back of the building), indicated in the attached map. On-site parking in the adjacent lot and street parking is available in the surrounding area. The Humanist Monthly Program is our longest running event and still a community favorite. In the old days it used to be called "Going to HCCO" and we still like to think of it as our flagship event. We will be hearing from Becca Powell, Director of Advocacy and Outreach at Unchained At Last, an organization whose mission is dedication to ending forced and child marriage in the United States through direct services and systems change. Whether you've never done improv before, or you've done it for so long you knew Del Close on a personal level, or anywhere in between, come join us! Swing by *Gresso's* for the **Columbus Improv Comedy Meetup** for some fun and games! The idea behind improv is to create entire scenes from scratch based on a suggestion from the audience. This can be done in game form, like *Whose Line Is It Anyway*, *ComedySportz*, or *Wild 'n Out*; it could also be done to tell stories, like *Middleditch and Schwartz*. Our meetup, which is central Ohio's longest running (and free!) weekly comedy event, brings the games (and occasionally different forms) for you to play in a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment. Not only is it a lot of fun, but you get to work on thinking faster on your feet, plus it's an excellent way to meet new people and make friendships that'll last a lifetime! Come assist Van Buren Shelter (https://ymcacolumbus.org/locations/vanburen) staff in serving dinners and cleaning up on the 3rd Tuesday of each month. Dinner for the women is 5-6 pm and for the families is 6:15-7:15 pm. There is ample free parking available in the shelter's lot. The recommended area to park is in green in the image above. There will be a new entrance for the time being. We are asking all volunteers to enter through the Donation Dock door, the orange mark on the image above. This door is located between the Single Adults and Family Shelter. You will see 2 large garage doors with a large green trash compactor in the center. Please head to the closest garage door to the building wall, with a ramp leading up. There, you will see a door with a sign stating instructions on how to enter the building. Please ring the doorbell, and a staff member will come and escort you into the building. If a staff member takes longer than 5 minutes, please call the front desk at 614-689-2020. This is a new process for us, and we do not want to keep you waiting! We appreciate your patience as we navigate this temporary change. The shelter needs a volunteer count the day before the event so sign-up ends Monday at 4:50 PM.
