Fem, responem i discutim preguntes i idees per estimular el pensament crític i ampliar les nostres perspectives amb alguns conceptes i pensaments en els quals mai hem pensat. Les reunions són sobre les nostres pròpies filosofies de la vida i no necessàriament el que els grans filòsofs i acadèmics han dit o escrit. No és un club de debat ni una plataforma per fer proselitisme. En canvi, posem èmfasi en qüestionar, tenir una mentalitat oberta i desafiar les nostres pròpies suposicions mentre escoltem i respectem les opinions compartides per altres persones. Una reunió de Sòcrates Cafè es considera un èxit quan els participants surten de la discussió amb moltes més preguntes de les que tenien al principi **QUINS TEMES ES DISCUTEIXEN A LES REUNIONS** Els participants suggereixen temes al principi de cada reunió. Després votem i triem el tema més popular per discutir-lo. No és necessària una formació acadèmica en filosofia; només es requereix entusiasme per intercanviar idees i punts de vista. En aquest col·loqui explorarem com fer els primers passos en el món de l’emprenedoria sense necessitat de grans inversions. Parlarem d’estratègies pràctiques, recursos accessibles i mentalitat emprenedora per transformar idees en projectes reals, fins i tot amb pressupostos limitats. A més, incorporarem un enfocament de millora personal i motivació, treballant aspectes clau com la confiança, la gestió de la por al fracàs i la constància, elements essencials per iniciar qualsevol camí emprenedor. La sessió tindrà una durada de 2 hores: * **1a hora:** exposició i col·loqui amb idees, exemples i eines pràctiques. * **2a hora:** espai participatiu per compartir opinions, debat obert, resolució de dubtes i anàlisi de casos reals. * Tant si vols participar activament com si prefereixes venir a escoltar, aquest és un espai pensat per a tu. No cal que siguis emprenedor: només cal tenir ganes d’aprendre, compartir i créixer conjuntament amb els altres. Hi and welcome to our next Socrates Café philosophy meetup! Do you have a hunger for a deeper understanding of yourself and the world around you? Do you value deep, honest and respectful dialogue? If yes, then you will enjoy this event. We ask, answer and discuss questions and ideas to stimulate critical thinking and to widen our perspectives with new concepts and thoughts. The main purpose of these meetups is to enrich ourselves with the perspectives of others, not to convince others about our own perspectives. Our meetups are about our own philosophies of life and not necessarily what the great philosophers and academics have said or written. It is not a debating club or a platform for proselytizing. Instead, we place the emphasis on questioning, open mindedness and challenging our own assumptions while listening to and respecting the views shared by others. A Socrates Café meetup is considered a success when participants leave a discussion with many more questions than they had at the beginning. WHAT TOPICS ARE DISCUSSED AT THE MEETUP? Participants suggest topics at the beginning of each meeting. We then vote and choose that event's most popular topic for discussion. No academic training in philosophy necessary; just enthusiasm for exchanging ideas and points of view. Some examples of subjects chosen on previous meetups: * What ideals are worth dying for? * Why are we never satisfied? * Why is it that human beings know that the society is going wrong, leaders are well informed about it and things continue as is? * Is identity necessary? * How can it be that people in democratic societies are so obsessed with power? EVERYONE AND ANYONE IS WELCOME The inspiration for Socrates Cafe originates with the book of the same name, written by the philosopher Christopher Phillips. Phillips felt that the Socratic method of dialogue and discussion should be practiced not just in academic settings, but among everyday people interested in examining deep questions together. Columbus Code & Coffee is an inclusive, informal co-working session. People of all skill levels attend, and we love it that way. Many people (optionally) bring projects to work on, and many other people (optionally) socialize the entire time. It's entirely up to you! **What to Expect at the Intro Circle** \~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~ Near the beginning of the event (1:30 pm), we do a standup: * Organizer announcements, updates, and logistics Round 1 - (7 secs max): * Your name * What you're working on * What you can help others with Round 2: * Community events you wanna plug. If none, that's cool too. Round 3: * Job opportunities you're hiring for OR announce that you are looking for one. If none, that's cool. After the introduction circle, everything is self-organized! Feel free to work alone, pair up, attend one of our workshops/presentations, or mingle!

The goal of our series will be to develop expertise in areas of particular interest such as mediumship, channeling, divination, healing and, etc.. **The Data-Driven Brand: Using Analytics to Shape Perception** Can you use analytics to improve tacos? This being CBUSDAW, we think the answer is probably “yes”, but we’re not sure how to implement or test this theory. For our April meetup we’ve got Sara Kear, CMO of Condado Tacos, to investigate this delicious question. Sara will explore how she blends quantitative data and qualitative customer feedback to shape brand positioning and drive business decisions. We all know that marketing and analytics go way beyond attribution. Sara will show how Condado uses customer insights to inform product and pricing strategy. She’ll also highlight how Condado leverages customer feedback at scale to influence operational priorities, positioning marketing as the voice of the customer across the organization. In the last 12 years Condado has gone from one location in Columbus to 52 locations across 10 states, so we’re guessing there’s more to that growth than really good guac (though the guac probably helps). Ultimately, this talk focuses on the intersection of art and science—using data to inform creativity and build a brand that resonates with customers in a measurable way. **About Our Speaker** Sara Kear is Chief Marketing Officer at Condado Tacos, where she oversees brand, restaurant design, menu and pricing strategy, off-premise including catering, and customer data strategy.
