Join us on **Easter Monday, 6 April**, for a **Parks on the Air (POTA)** outing from **Ticknock** in the Dublin Mountains. If you have not come across POTA before, it is all about bringing amateur radio into the great outdoors, setting up in a qualifying park, and making contacts from the field. We did a quieter test run on Bull Island recently and it went well, so this time we are opening it up to the wider **TOG community and the public**. We will meet at **10:30am** at the **Ticknock café** and then head off to find a good place to set up and operate. We expect to be on air for around **two hours**. You are very welcome to come along, help out, and even have a go on the radio using the **club callsign EI0TOG**. Jeffrey Roe, **EI7IRB**, will be leading the activation. Jeffrey is planning to cycle out, but there is parking nearby too. If radio is not really your thing, or you do not want to stay for the whole activation, Ticknock has plenty of walks so you can still join us for part of the outing. After the POTA activation, there are also IRTS 2m and 70cm contests running, so anyone who wants to keep the radio fun going is welcome to do that too. As always, this one is weather dependent. If the conditions are awful, we will give it a miss rather than spend another Monday getting soaked. We want to create a safe space that is especially welcoming to first-time performers. If you're new to sharing music, know that this is a no-pressure, supportive space where beginners are encouraged. **How it works:** \* It’s unplugged and intimate. We go around in a song circle—each person gets a turn to play one song per round. You’re welcome to sit out a round if you prefer. \* Singers welcome—no instrument needed. Go acappella or ask for accompaniment. \* Covers, originals, instrumentals—all styles welcome. **A few practical notes:** \* RSVP is essential in order to perform. \*Plus one’s are welcome but please keep it to one - RSVP only required for musicians. \* Can’t make it? A weekly board game meet up in "Mc Mahon’s Bar and Eatery" which is a pub. We get our own section, it's wheelchair friendly and parking is free! 🙂 Whether you are new or a veteran player you are all are welcome! General guidelines are: 1. Avoid handing drinks to people OVER a game. 2. We cannot take responsibility in the event of theft so keep your valuables close to you. 3. Strictly over 18+ only. The "rules" would be: 1. The pub owner is really nice and are letting us use the space so if you can - please buy a tea, coffee or a drink on the night to support them if you can but don't feel obligated to do so. Just a note for those coming by car from Dublin: 1. I highly recommend using the motorway then driving into the pub. Traffic from 5 - 6:30 is horrendous but the roads are clear enough after this time.

We are a group that plays Pathfinder, a tabletop RPG. We are relaunching the games in Dublin and for that we need new players like you. We will explain the rules to you and help you create your dream character. Drop in to our regular Open Social for a great alternative Saturday evening. It's a great informal way to see the space and meet members and visitors. TOG will be open on Tuesday evenings from 19:00 to 21:30 for a general Open House event. Expect to find members and visitors in the space up to all sorts of activities. Join us for a night of board gaming with FANG (Fem All Night Gaming). **We are an all fem board game group** in Columbus, Ohio. No cis-men, please! We play modern hobby board games! Welcome to Casual Boardgames, where we enjoy classic tabletop games and social deduction games while bonding over good food, drinks, and great conversations. 
We started this group to meet new people and make new friends, and bonding over games in a relaxed atmosphere is a great way to do that. We currently meet near route 23 and Polaris Parkway, and this is close to areas like Powell, Lewis Center, Worthington, and parts of Westerville and Columbus. 
Feel free to bring your own games or play one of the many games our members bring. If you are inexperienced, we will help you learn. 
Here are just a few examples of the kind of games we play. 
Tabletop/board games: Splendor, Catan, Azul, Dominion, 7 Wonders… 
Social deduction games: Code Names, Chameleon, Werewords… 
IMPORTANT: 
1. While we love playing a variety of games and competing, we are not just about the games. We interact and talk while playing, and this leads to a lot of laughter and fun. If you just want to compete and focus solely on the game, then this is probably not the group you are looking for. 
2. Many people join groups like this and never (or rarely) show up after weeks or months. If you join and never really come, we will eventually remove you from the group as a courtesy to our members. Why? Because limiting group conversations (on the app) to regular members makes communication and planning much easier. Also, while it may be rare, it protects members from people who join because they are interested in following a person instead of having a real interest in our group. If you get removed, it is just because you haven’t come, and we follow this protocol as a courtesy to our regular game players.

This week is Twos-day on a Wednesday. Bring your favorite 2 player games and be ready to teach some and learn others. We'll bounce around and get to know new people and new games. Think speed dating but without the stress, romance or dating! And we don't judge, if you'd prefer to stick to bigger games by all means, go for it! The Forge does have a full bar and kitchen. There is no cover charge but they do request all attendees to purchase a minimum of ~$20 per person. Soft drink refills are $1 each. Please support our hosts so we can continue to provide great events for the group! The Forge has a large library of games available for us to enjoy. Hosts and regulars will also provide numerous popular games but please bring any games you would like to teach and/or play. Doors open at 6, and we expect gaming to be rolling by around 630. Please promptly end your games and clear out the space at 10pm when the bar closes. We encourage socializing but do not permit disruptive behavior of any kind. Thank you for your continued commitment to providing a fun and welcoming space to veteran, newbie, and rookie gamers in the Columbus area. Parking can be challenging. There is a parking lot behind the neighboring Mexican restaurant that is free and easy to walk from but it's a bit hidden.

Columbus Code & Coffee is an inclusive, informal co-working session. People of all skill levels attend, and we love it that way. Many people (optionally) bring projects to work on, and many other people (optionally) socialize the entire time.
