Pass code= 540070 Tai Chi Stick Exercises and Tai Chi Stick Form is open to all students. We’ll use a light stick approximately 36” long that you can easily get at a Home Depot or similar store. The exercises are designed to improve strength, flexibility and coordination. We will also learn a short choreography of movements done slowly and smoothly that anyone can easily follow. Each lesson begins with warm-ups followed by reviewing the choreography taught up to that point, and then continuing to learn an additional movement. This is a fun way to learn more about Tai Chi and improve your health.

This exercise session is aimed at people over 50. Our exercises are gentle but effective. There will be no floor exercises in this session, but you can expect to work hard! Not exercised for a while? Painful knees or hips? Or just like to end your week with some gentle movement? This class will be a great place to start. No fast, jerky movements, but this will still be a good workout for all levels. Beginners and experienced participants are equally welcome. We will combine chair exercises with standing exercises, designed to strengthen your muscles to help support your joints and improve your balance and flexibility. Inspired by PD Warrior, we run these especially designed classes, full of fun exercises, designed to slow down the progression of Parkinson’s. She lives in Ohio on an 80-acre wildlife sanctuary, which she said inspires much of her work, including her 2012 novel, The Bluebird Effect: Uncommon Bonds with Common Bird, and NATURAL GARDENING FOR BIRDS The novel is illustrated with 320 of Zickefoose’s colored paintings, life sketches, and drawings, and it was one of Oprah’s 2012 book club reads.
