The last meetup of the year is different! Bring a book wrapped in a gift cover(used or new book) or newspaper and discuss with the fellow book lovers about the theme of the book. Exchange the gift! You are allowed to share the theme of the book who likes it, then exchange the gift with the attendee. Then socialize!
It's a perfect place to surprise fellow book lovers.

Join us for a relaxed post-Christmas daytime run, aiming for around 10km on grass and trails.
Depending on numbers, we’ll look to split into pace groups of approximately 5:00/km, 5:30/km and 6:00/km.
If the Visitor Centre café is open, we’ll stick around for a coffee afterwards.

Join us for an in-between, what day is it, swim!
It's cold at the moment so don't stay in too long if you are not used to the cold water. Bring a hot drink and layers for afterwards.
High tide is 1830 so we will have just enough water.

New Year Ashram Retreat 2025/2026

**Beginning on the evening of Tuesday 30th Dec 2025 @ 7.30pm until 1pm Thursday January 1st 2026, what better way to ring in the New Year!**
Join us in the nourishing space of Anam Ashram as we let go of 2025 and look forward to the blessings and opportunities the New Year brings. A silent ashram retreat comprises of spiritual practices from the Yogic path, a combination of gentle Hatha Yoga and various types of meditation and reflection, under guidance. These practices are designed to nourish the body, calm the mind and help us to grow in awareness of our true selves.
Everyone is welcome and no experience necessary.
**What is involved?** Gentle Hatha Yoga sessions, sitting and walking meditations, time for private reflection, nourishing vegetarian food and a closing Satsang each evening. All of these practices help us to grow in greater awareness, to discover the Divine within. A time for relaxing the body, quietening the mind and nourishing the spirit as we enter into a New Year.
**Cost:** €150 Residential (2 nights)/ €85 Non-residential (1.5 days) or €60 (for one full day). Meals included. Deposit required when booking.

Free meditation and Yoga at Navan Library
You are all very welcome to join our new in-person meditation meeting, every Saturday at Navan library from 10:00 to 11:30 (Ukrainian) and from 12:00 to 13:30 (in English).
At the weekly meditation meetings, you will learn how to achieve a state of true meditation. We will also show you how to meditate at home and how to keep your subtle system in balance. You will be introduced to the practice of Sahaja Yoga and its benefits, followed by a guided meditation and a short video talk by Shri Mataji (the founder of Sahaja Yoga). In a relaxed atmosphere, you are welcome to clarify any questions and talk about your experience.
Classes are all FREE OF CHARGE. No prior appointment is necessary and no prior experience or knowledge of meditation is required for these classes. The techniques you learn are not based on physical exercises and can be done sitting on a chair or the floor. Wearing something comfortable will help you relax.

New Year Reset through the Voice - Singing Workshop
Traditionally, winter is a time for rest and retreat, a period of germination and preparation for springtime renewal. However, after the hustle and bustle of Christmas and New Year celebrations, many of us find that our nervous systems are a bit frazzled and in need of a reset. This voice and singing workshop will help you transition from an [activated nervous system (fight-or-flight state) to a calmer ‘rest and digest’ mode](https://bhma.org/polyvagal-theory-and-community-singing/). Since most of us spend too much time in a state of stress, it is crucial to learn how to activate a calmer, healing state of being. Singing and voice work have been proven to help regulate the nervous system, [bringing many mental and physical health benefits](https://fullcirclechange.ie/offerings/self-care/singing/).
Through meditative chants, vocal practices and harmony songs, this workshop will help you sink into a deeper, more mindful state and provide you with some simple tools for harnessing the voice to continue this practice into 2026.
