LGBTQIA+ Drop-in at The Nest
A casual drop-in for anyone who identifies as LGBTQIA+ who wants a safe space to chat and meet.
Held in The Nest Community Centre every Tuesday with free tea, coffee and biscuits, we talk about any topic but also are eager to find out what our local LGBTQIA+ community wants and needs.
The Gayzelles LGBTQIA+ Running Club
Join **The Gayzelles LGBTQIA+ Running Club** for a fun way to both keep fit and socialise with other LGBTQIA people in our local area!
We meet at 6.30pm every Tuesday outside St Benet's Church on Abbey Grove.
We then do a 5.5k route taking in Lesnes Abbey Woods and going around Southmere Lake before heading back to our original starting point.
Afterwards, there may be a chance for a bit of a social if people feel like doing so.
We look forward to seeing you there! 🌈
Craft Session - Punch card trackers!
Come and join us on Tuesday evening, 7-9pm for a fun and crafting - apologies for the late change we're going to be making new year 'punch card trackers' instead for fun activities or habits we'd like to do for the year ahead. Just like these ones: https://www.tiktok.com/@christine.schauer/video/7590076534447263007
(Badge making will be next month!)
We meet at London Friend office, 86 Caledonian Road, London N19DN. You don't need to RSVP, so you can just show up.
This session is a drop in and a chance to meet likeminded people to socialise with even if you don’t fancy getting crafty.
Materials are provided onsite for FREE and no experience is needed!
This social activities group is open to all LBT women plus non-binary people who have an identity within a community that centres on women.
We are looking forward to seeing you! :)
London Polyamory Monthly Meetup
We are back to in person pub every month! At the Sir John Oldcastle Pub right by Farringdon station. Reachable by three tube lines, national rail and bus routes. First Tuesday of every month.
PLEASE NOTE WE ARE NOT A SEX/SWINGERS CLUB! PLEASE READ THE GROUP DESCRIPTION BEFORE JOINING
While this is a free event, I'd like to request that those attending the social make a voluntary donation of £1 to help cover the admin costs of Meetup.com: https://ko-fi.com/ldnpolyam
This meetup group is for anyone who is interested in openly and honestly loving more than one partner - you may call yourself polyamorous or non-monogamous or any other label you prefer, but if you are interested in having, or currently have multiple romantic and/or sexual relationships where all concerned are consenting and in full knowledge, you are welcome to come along and chat with others who understand those choices.
This is NOT a dating group of singles! If you are actively looking for a partner, that's fine, but the group is not set up for the purpose of matchmaking, and some of our members are pretty "polysaturated" (i.e. they have as many relationships as they want and are not looking for more!) I'd hate for anyone to come along expecting that everyone there is looking for new partners and then be disappointed. If you are looking for new partners, look out for things like Poly Speed Dating nights, Poly Cocktails and try looking online at, for example, okcupid.com. If you receive unsolicited "let's meet" or other predatory messages from a member, please forward them to the admin team. We aim to be a safe space for everyone. Come along and talk to others about how they found their partners, too, if you like. We are a friendly group and not known to bite. ;-)
You can find us by looking for the plush and inflatable parrots on our tables, or for Angus' blue hair. Alternatively ask at the bar for "Angus' group", "The poly group", or "the parrot people". We're usually in the area towards the back of the pub.
Christian Speed Dating | Ages 40 to 55
BOOK YOUR TICKET 👉🏼 [HERE](https://itsadate.club/event/christian-speed-dating-2/).
Single, Christian, and 40–55? Perfect! Join us for 15 fun, fast-paced dates with like-minded Christians looking for genuine connections.
In the heart of The City, just moments from Liverpool Street Station, The Otherist provides a relaxed and welcoming setting for meeting new people who share your Christian faith. Our spacious and private sunken lounge creates the perfect backdrop for an intimate evening designed to help single Christian guests meet, mingle, and connect during fifteen fun, fast-paced dates. With a friendly atmosphere, gentle background music, and 15 potential matches, it’s an evening that’s as easygoing as it is exciting.
Our host will be at the venue ready to welcome you at 19:30. Please arrive on time for registration, to grab any drinks from the bar, and receive a summary of how things will work. You will be given an optional name sticker, a pen, and note card to keep track of everyone you’ve met.
Ladies will be seated on tables adequately spaced, discreetly numbered, and arranged in a comfortable area of the venue. When speed dating commences, gents will join ladies for 5-minute dates to get to know one another. Your host will notify all guests at the end of each date, signalling for gents to move to the next table in ascending numerical order.
During table rotations you will have a moment to record on note cards your feelings towards the previous date and intention to reconnect, for your reference only.
Mid-way through the evening, your host will indicate a 15-minute comfort break to use the rest room, head to the bar, or socialise with new connections. Dating will then resume for the second half of the evening.
At the end of the speed dating the bar will remain open for more socialising. You can then access the event listing in your dashboard to enter feedback on dates and await your matches.
If you have any questions on the event or how things will work, please get in contact with James on 07517 065 492 or [james@itsadate.club](mailto:james@itsadate.club).

LGBTQIA+ Coffee Brunch
Join LGBT Thamesmead for a relaxed coffee brunch and connect with other LGBTQIA+ people in the local area.
We'll be meeting at the Thamesmead Social, a fabulous café on the ground floor of the Lakeside Centre by Southmere Lake. The area is very well served by buses, but should you need to drive, there is usually plenty of on-road parking available next to or near the venue.
Please feel free to arrive or head off at any time between the start and finish times depending on your schedule.
Whether you're a regular or you're joining us for the first time, all are welcome! 🌈

LGBTQIA+ Woodland Walk in Lesnes Abbey Wood
Join us for our monthly Sunday group walk in Lesnes Abbey Woods! Enjoy some fresh air, beautiful surroundings, and get to know other LGBTQIA+ people in your local area.
This will be a relaxed walk with the intent of socialising and getting to know other members of the group. Each participant is free to set their own pace.
We'll meet from 10:30am outside Chestnuts Kiosk (on the side of the Lodge where refreshments are served, facing onto the Monk's Gardens), where you can grab yourself a drink to keep warm and introduce yourself to your fellow walkers. We'll set off at 10:45am.
At the end of the walk, we'll return to Chestnuts Kiosk where everyone will be welcome to get another drink, relax in the Abbey's grounds, and continue chatting with each other (and maybe even reward yourself with a nice slice of cake!)
☔ This meetup will still go ahead if it's raining (to a reasonable degree!) However, if the weather is forecast to be particularly bad or potentially dangerous, we'll reschedule the activity with as much notice as possible.
🐶 Dogs, families and friends are more than welcome!
While the park and gardens of Lesnes Abbey are accessible for wheelchairs and buggies, many areas of the woods have steep hills or steps. You can [check the park's facilities and accessibility information](https://www.lesnesabbeywoods.org/plan-your-visit/facilities-and-accessibility/) to find out more about accessibility at Lesnes Abbey.
QTIPOC Meal
Are you LGBTQIA+ *and* a Person of Colour? Do you want to meet others of similar backgrounds, in a relaxed and welcoming space? Look no further!
After the successful turnout at UK Black Pride, it has come to our attention that there is still demand for specific QTIPOC *(Queer, Trans and Intersex People of Colour)* spaces. It can be hard to find people of shared experiences across intersections, so we're trialling this space with that in mind.
Join Aaron for a friendly, relaxed meal at Nando's, located near the river in Kingston. No agenda - just food, fun and friends!
While respectful allies have been welcomed as *guests* in certain spaces, we kindly ask that this event is a Safe Space for QTIPOC only. POC explicitly includes Mixed Race People Of Colour.
This will be our **\*second ever\*** QTIPOC group meal, so if all goes well, there is capacity for regular future meetups. If you have any ideas for what you would like to see for local QTIPOC, we will be more than happy to hear your suggestions.
**Nervous about not knowing anyone?** Try not to be! Nobody knew each other initially at our previous socials, but everybody left smiling and feeling more connected to community. We do exist!
**Meal is at Nando's Kingston, 37-38 High Street, London, KT1 1LQ**
While there is no option to book, we shall meet at the restaurant for **18:30**, please arrive on time, so we can order and eat together.
**Spaces are limited, please confirm attendance by:**
**1.) Answering the pre-requisite questions.**
**2.) Confirming with Aaron you are definitely attending, either by direct message, a comment on here or via email** aaron@kingstonlgbtforum.org.uk
**Please note, your place is not secure without these communications. If you can no longer make it, please inform Aaron asap and change your RSVP. QTIPOC events are few and far between and this ensures that everyone can access a much-needed, valuable space.**
**Access:** Please see below AccessAble link for access information. Please do not hesitate to reach out regarding any access queries and we shall do our best to get these answered. We strive to make our events as inclusive as possible and understand the additional difficulties faced by disabled QTIPOC.

We look forward to seeing you!
**Support Us**: Kingston LGBTQ+ Forum is run by unpaid volunteers and funded by the generosity of the local community. If you'd like to support Kingston LGBTQ+ Forum, [please click here](https://www.kingstonlgbtforum.org.uk/donate).
