Why pay thousands of dollars for a seminar class when you can join a Toastmasters Club for a fraction of the cost & have fun in the process? Toastmasters is a place where you develop and grow - both personally and professionally. You join a community of learners, and in Toastmaster meetings we learn by doing. Whether you are an executive or stay-at-home parent, a college student or retiree, you will improve yourself; building skills to express yourself in a variety of situations. Anyone who is a strong leader has to first be an effective communicator. In Toastmasters you will hone your speaking skills, and you will develop leadership abilities - through evaluations, listening, mentoring, serving as club officers and filling roles in the meetings. It's free to visit and very inexpensive to join if you feel it's a good fit. Advanced Access is an advanced level club where members already have a home club, and completed their Competent Communicator manual or Levels 1 and 2 in Pathways. Our club developed a more in-depth evaluation method giving speakers better feedback and accelerating their speaking achievements.

The Ronald McDonald House (RMH) provides housing and meals for families with sick children. The Columbus RMH is the largest in the world with 137 rooms. COUNT has been volunteering there since May 2014. Housewarmers work with RMH guests to provide a home-like environment - greet, assist with family needs, answer phones, give tours, assist with checkin/checkout, prepare guest rooms after checkout, clean facility, laundry, restock supplies and staff the front desk.
