Join our weekly mixed 3x3 basketball run, organised by the GG3x3 (https://www.gg3x3.com/), an hour of non-stop 3x3 action based on FIBA 3x3 rules all levels welcome! 3x3 is an Olympic Sport played in teams of 3 in half court, and is a fun way of experiencing the game of basketball. 3x3 is particularly suited to basketball beginners as you get more touches on the ball, have more space to move into off of ball screens or when you are playing off the ball. Please join this game using the free GameOn Active app ([download here](https://gameonactive.co.uk/connect.html)) which is a free app we use to organise the run. Crossharbour Montessori Day Nursery is 1 min walk from Crossharbour DLR station. Whether you have never drummed before, a beginner, or a skilled drummer, the workshop is open to all. We have such fun and play gigs in and around London as well as Penge. Gigs include local community events/festivals, support charities at the London Marathon or Royals Parks Run, fundraisers, and wider festivals. We also play with our associated group ,Tribo, from West London, where you have a chance to play at the Notting Hill Carnival every year. Hi everyone! (pre-pandemic information) If you like to play modern board, card and dice games, and to meet new people, then join us every Wednesday evening, for as long as you like between the hours of 6pm and 11pm (when the pub closes). Feel free to bring your own games if you have them, but don't worry if you don't as there are plenty that live at the pub, and plenty more that regular members bring along. And of course, we'll teach you how to play them if you don't know already. You work late? No worries - you can come along any time before closing (11pm), so if you don't arrive at 7pm (when attendees trickle in), don't worry! Everyone comes and goes whenever they like, so it is possible that you may be the first to arrive or last to leave. Please write in the comments what time you expect to arrive at the pub, so we can try to avoid anyone having to wait alone for long. It's a Brazilian samba group that celebrates music, cultural heritage, community, sociability, and diversity in the UK. The event takes place once a month, on Sundays, at Maxilla Social Club close the tube station Latimer Road. The event is open to everyone from all over nacionalities interested in Brazilian culture. Columbus Code & Coffee is an inclusive, informal co-working session. People of all skill levels attend, and we love it that way. Picture the Grand Ball scenes like you’ve seen in period films such as “Pride and Prejudice”, where the dancers are lined up in long lines, across from each other. That’s English Country Dancing, the predecessor of contra dancing. Now, add moves like “swing your partner” and “do-si-do,” like you’ve seen in square dancing. Set it to fabulous, high energy, live music with fiddles, guitars, percussion and more, alá “Riverdance.” Finally, set the whole scene down in the middle of Woodstock, with a hip, groovy atmosphere, a bit of tie-dye, and hints of counter-culture attitude. THAT’s Contra Dancing! Wear cool and comfortable clothes (you will get warm) and clean shoes that won't mark up our nice wood floor. Be sure to come for the beginner's lesson from 7:30 - 8:00, followed by dancing 8:00 - 10:30. All dances are taught; we will help you learn! Beginners always welcome, no need to bring a partner.
