Indiemeet's Monthly Meetup
Indiemeet's Monthly Meetup
Help support the group with a tip: [https://ko-fi.com/indierpg](https://ko-fi.com/indierpg)! This is Indiemeet's monthly meetup. Come along for 13:30 and meet folk. At 14:00 we start pitching games. Everyone who's brought a game to run gives a short pitch: they say what it's like, how many players it can take and whether it has a GM or not. Then we allocate people to games and play them. We love people who pitch games, so please do come with something you'd like to run. If you'd like to pitch a game, you'll need to include: number of players, type of game (GMed or GM-less), and a brief blurb of the game. If it's your first time at Indiemeet, we'll ask what you want to play and try to make sure it runs! We believe that gaming is for all: Indiemeet believes in providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of participants in any form. We believe that gaming is for everyone, regardless of who you are or your level of experience. Winter Solstice - Cacao, Rose and Sound Ceremony - With Gayatri
Winter Solstice - Cacao, Rose and Sound Ceremony - With Gayatri
**Join Gayatri at the Turning of the Year for a Cacao, Rose & Sound Ceremony** * We will begin with a warm welcome and introductions. * Together, we will share Cacao and Rose to deepen our connection with the Earth and open our hearts. * Through oracle cards, we will reflect on the year so far and explore our intentions for the seasons ahead. * Gayatri will then guide you on a meditative journey, accompanied by the healing vibrations of sound instruments. You are invited to relax and bathe in these frequencies. * Afterward, we will have time to share experiences in circle before closing together in gratitude. *** ### Benefits of Attending This ceremony offers a peaceful space to pause, reflect, and reconnect during the darkest point of the year. Participants will: * **Open the heart and calm the mind** through ceremonial Cacao and Rose, supporting emotional warmth, inner peace, and gentle awakening of the senses. * **Reflect with clarity** using oracle cards to review the past year and set intentions for the returning light and the seasons ahead. * **Restore balance and presence** through a guided meditation accompanied by sound healing instruments that help release tension and realign energy. * **Feel supported in community** by sharing within a safe and compassionate circle, fostering connection and mutual understanding. * **Align with natural rhythms** of the Winter Solstice — a moment of stillness, renewal, and the quiet promise of new beginnings. This gathering is a time to listen inward, to soften into gratitude, and to prepare the heart for the light that follows the longest night. *** The **Autumn Equinox**, also known as **Mabon**, marks a celebration of the final harvest. It is a time of abundance, gratitude, and reflection—a moment to give thanks for blessings received and to honour the fruits of our efforts, both literal and symbolic. This turning of the wheel also ushers in **Libra season**. The equinox itself is a point of balance between day and night, and Libra, represented by the scales, reminds us of harmony, justice, and peace. As the sun moves through this season, we are invited to reflect on our own equilibrium—acknowledging both light and shadow, and aligning ourselves with balance on our inner and outer paths.

Sunday Gathering: Embracing the Darkness, Welcoming the Light
Sunday Gathering: Embracing the Darkness, Welcoming the Light
**Lindsay River and Rev Adam Slate** On the shortest day of the year, we honour the ancient rhythm of darkness and light. The Pagan observance of winter solstice reminds us that even at the coldest time of year, the turning has already begun. We celebrate this cosmic promise of renewal, the quiet peace that this time of dormancy holds, and the hope that sustains us through winter's depths. Lindsay River is a long-time member of New Unity, and has been a pagan since 1975. She has followed different spiritual paths within that broad umbrella, taught workshops and classes, and trained individual seekers. In November 2025, she was initiated into the Anglesey Druid Order. *Kids Club programming is on break until 11th January 2026. All are welcome in the chapel!* Attend either online or in person at the Newington Green Meeting House, 39a Newington Green, London, N16 9PR (fully accessible). Go [here](https://www.new-unity.org/sundaygatherings) for more information and the Zoom link, and [here](https://www.new-unity.org/find-us) for directions to the Meeting House.
