Welcome to the **Quadrantids** — fast, bright, intense, and criminally underrated. ## 🗓 DATE & TIME **Saturday Night, January 3 → Sunday Morning, January 4, 2026** This is important: The Quadrantids **peak after midnight and just before dawn**, so staying late actually pays off. ## 📍 LOCATION **Our legendary night-picnic spot near the Bunkers del Carmel** High ground. Open sky. City lights below. Meteors above. Bad decisions guaranteed. ## 💫 WHY THE QUADRANTIDS ARE SPECIAL The Quadrantids are not the biggest meteor shower — they are **the sharpest**. 🌠 Up to **100 meteors per hour at peak** ⚡ Extremely **fast and bright fireballs** 🕰️ Very **short peak window** (miss it and it’s gone) They come from debris left by asteroid **2003 EH1**, likely the remains of an ancient comet.
