Created and run by Tapestry Opera, with lead partner the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, Women in Musical Leadership is a three-year program designed to collectively develop the next generation of women and non-binary conductors and music directors in Canada.
Women in Musical Leadership Conductors work with Maestro Gustavo Gimeno and the musicians of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra in this Masterclass held at Roy Thomson Hall.

***During this masterclass, you will observe Women In Musical Leadership Conductors Monica Chen and Eve Legault, and Associate Conductor Serena Reuten work with TSO Music Director Gustavo Gimeno and the world-class TSO. It’s a unique experience that always reveals fascinating details of the conductors’ craft and offers a peek “behind the scenes” of an orchestra’s rehearsal process.
