De qué se trata
This group is run by a Mountain Guide from the UK who has fallen in love with the mountains and people of Andalucia and now runs trips in the area.
This group is an extension of Hiking Nation UK which has over 16 thousand members and growing, and from there we receive people from all over the world.
Our trips have a variety of levels which are explained in the description of each trip.
The attendees range mostly from 25 to 45 years old and are fun, adventure loving people.
We love and support differences, including but not limited to the LGBTQ+ community, all genders, races, nationalities, etc. When we go on a hike, we are all equal.

El Torcal de Antequera is a must-see natural wonder in the Málaga region, famous for its otherworldly rock formations, stunning viewpoints, and prehistoric fossils. Standing at nearly 1,400 meters, this unique landscape offers an unforgettable hiking experience.
We walk at a comfortable and enjoyable pace—not too fast, not too slow—giving you plenty of time to soak in the views, take amazing photos, and chat with fellow adventurers.
At a scenic spot along the way, we’ll take a break for a picnic, so don’t forget to bring a packed lunch and plenty of water.
🚨 Important: Proper hiking shoes or strong trainers are required, as the terrain is very uneven and can be slippery.

TORCAL DE ANTEQUERA
Length: 8 km - 5 miles
Elevation gain: 300 metres - 990 feet
Distance: 4 hours - 14400 seconds
Max elevation: 1374 metres - 4507 feet (this is not what we climb, we drive to nearly that top)
Difficulty: Moderate with super uneven ground and lots of distractions on the way
Blood, tears and sweat: one cup
We drive to nearly the top of this mountain at a heigh above the highest peak of the UK. That is some good cheating.A super interesting hike with crazy rock formations that look like spaceships, brains, stacked pancakes, ducks, penises, loonies, etc. They are like clouds on the ground but less fluffy.
We will also come across some amazing ammonites, just sitting there on the ground undisturbed for millions of years. If they were in England, someone would have sprayed a cock on them or chipped it off to sell on eBay. We are not doing that though.What You’ll Experience
This is not just a hike—it’s an adventure through a prehistoric, surreal world! You’ll see rock formations that resemble spaceships, brains, stacked pancakes, ducks, faces, and even some slightly inappropriate shapes. It’s like looking at clouds, but these are made of ancient limestone instead of fluffy water vapor.
And here’s the real kicker: you’ll find million-year-old ammonite fossils just lying on the ground! If this were England, someone would have already graffitied them or chipped them away to sell on eBay. But here, they remain untouched—so let’s admire them with the respect they deserve.

El Torcal de Antequera es un destino imprescindible en la provincia de Málaga, conocido por sus formaciones rocosas surrealistas, vistas espectaculares y fósiles prehistóricos. Con su punto más alto alcanzando casi 1.400 metros, ofrece una experiencia de senderismo inolvidable.Caminamos a un ritmo cómodo y agradable, permitiendo tiempo para disfrutar del paisaje, tomar fotos y conversar con otros aventureros.
Durante la ruta, haremos una parada para un picnic en un punto escénico, así que recuerda traer tu almuerzo y suficiente agua.
🚨 Importante: Es obligatorio llevar botas de senderismo o zapatillas resistentes, ya que el terreno es irregular y puede ser resbaladizo.

Altitud máxima: 1.374 metros - 4.507 pies (no subimos todo eso caminando, llegamos casi hasta la cima en coche)
⚠️ Dificultad: Exigente – debido a la longitud de la ruta y a algunos tramos que requieren no tener vértigo. Terreno muy irregular y muchas distracciones en el camino
💪 Esfuerzo: Una taza de sangre, sudor y lágrimas (bueno, no tanto... ¡pero casi!)Una ruta de senderismo súper interesante con formaciones rocosas alucinantes que parecen naves espaciales, cerebros, tortitas apiladas, patos, penes, caras raras, etc. Son como nubes en el suelo, pero menos esponjosas.
También encontraremos increíbles ammonites, simplemente ahí, en el suelo, sin ser molestados durante millones de años. Si estuvieran en Inglaterra, alguien ya les habría pintado una polla encima o los habría arrancado para venderlos en eBay. Pero nosotros no vamos a hacer eso.***

Esto no es solo una caminata—¡es una aventura a través de un mundo prehistórico y surrealista!
