Coastal trails of the Costa de la Luz Tarifa!

👣 Our trail takes us from the vast sand dunes of Bolonia through the El Estrecho Natural Park.

👣 Along coastal pine needle paths we’ll trek to the Roman ruins of the town Baelo Claudia sitting on expansive pure white sandy beaches. Walking through pine forests we’ll finish in an idilic tranquil hidden bay with unbeatable views towards North Africa..!

👣 The Costa de la Luz Tarifa (Coast of Light) is what I like to call the Australia of Europe.. Is on the map as the kite surfing capital of Europe! Mirroring the east coast of Australia, the lesser known Costa de la Luz is a world apart from other areas of the coast, expansive pristine white sand dunes and hidden untouched pine forest wilderness coastal trails. Lined with bohemian surfing communities and traditional Andalusian rustic white washed fishing villages. Historically rich in strong Phoenician, Roman and Moorish influences.

👣 Stopping in the ancient old town of Tarifa to sample the local Andalusian cuisine.

•Grade - Moderate / Distance - 10km (Approx)

•All transfers provided / All insurance covered.

*€40 per person / €30 per person for persons using own transport.

*Pick up 09:00 from the Mijas / Marbella area - full details will be given when signed up. Return no later than 18:30

*This tour can be booked outside the event date.

•KIT TO BE TAKEN -
Light weight breathable trousers or shorts, breathable t-shirt, hat to keep the sun off from head, sunblock.
•Hiking shoes or trail running trainers, trainers are adequate for this trek but hiking shoes or trail running trainers will be more comfortable!
•2 litre bottle of water and small rucksack, bring a sandwich or wrap if you like, we will be stopping for tapas around 15:00.

•Try and travel light, I use a 4K GoPro 5 which takes excellent professional photos and videos throughout the trek.

To secure a day tour booking 50% must be paid before day tour, this amount is refundable up to 48 hours prior to departure. Incase of cancellation due to rare adverse weather conditions full deposit and payment will be fully refundable. We accept bank transfers, Revolut and cash payment.
