Design Your Career Part 1: Build your "MVP:ME"

What is a "design problem"? We can imagine any number of traditional things that are designed...houses, buildings, furniture, digital products. But perhaps the most important design challenge is your life, and even your career.

In this workshop, you will learn some of the fundamental skills of design thinking and product strategy in the context of your career. You will build a launch strategy with yourself as the product and brand. You will analyze your "product" to define it's greatest features, benefits, and potential gaps; then build personas for the customers in your target market (ie your professional field); create some personalized branding messages that will resonate with your customers; and finally, learn how to evaluate and improve/adapt your product strategy based on various metrics.

This approach has been adopted to great success for Ubiqum's students who are pursuing new careers in technology. Nathan Benjamin, Head of Product for Ubiqum, will facilitate the workshop.
