Did you ever want to customize your favorite denim but didn't want to ruin it? Well, I'm here to help! I have all the tips and tricks to make your painted denim dreams come true. In this class, you will learn how to apply a custom design with vibrant and long-lasting colors. You will utilize fabric mediums so your designs won’t dry out and crackle off. And finally, you will learn how to heat set! This process allows the paint to set into the fabric so your designs will withstand normal wear and tear for years to come! Do not worry if you are not good at painting! I will have a variety of my designs available to apply as stencils and will be doing custom hand-lettering.
Bring your own piece of denim to paint! This could be your favorite jacket or jeans. The denim does not have to be blue any color will work. Just make sure it is a sturdy denim fabric not too stretchy or the paint won’t hold good.
