Alarcón sits on a rocky hill, almost completely encircled by a loop of the Júcar River. In the 8th century, an Arab fortress was built on the promontory above the river, making it a strategic defensive position.
Cuenca is a small city in the south of Castilla, whose historic center is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The city has a unique characteristic, indeed, it is located atop of a rocky hill, with some parts of the town at 946 meters above sea level.
Our hike will take us thrugh the most amazing landscapes of the region, with mesmerizing views and the joy of discovering new places!
