Come with us to hike in the Sierra Espadán, starting from Alfondeguilla, passing through Fonteta ravine, and reaching Castro Castle (also called Castro de Alfondeguilla) at 787 m altitude.

The castle, of Arab origin, sits on a former Roman watchtower site and features remnants of walls, a tower, and the Roman aqueduct “L’Arquet.”
Next, we explore the San José Caves, a 2.5 km navigable underground river with a constant temperature of +20 °C. Known as “the heart of the earth,” the caves showcase stalactites, stalagmites, and ancient cave drawings, made safer for visitors after 1920s renovations. A unique combination of history, geology, and adventure!
