🗓️ ##About This Session
*** Brand photography*** is different from other shoots. It's not just about flattering someone — it's about capturing the personality of a business. Every location, outfit, colour and pose needs to reflect the brand's values, voice and vibes.
In this 3-part workshop you'll shadow a complete real-world brand photoshoot from first client call to final delivery.
You'll watch how I handle everything, then get your own time behind the camera to practice.
You'll be working within the client's brand guidelines — learning how to make creative decisions that serve someone else's vision while still producing images you're proud of. That's exactly the skill that gets you hired and keeps clients coming back.

🗒️ ##How it works
👯🏻♀️ Part 1 — Before the Shoot: Client Meeting & Prep
Online | Replay available
This is where most photographers skip steps they shouldn't.
You'll sit in on a real client meeting and see how I translate a brand's personality into a concrete visual plan — location, outfits, colour palette, mood. You'll understand why the prep is what makes or breaks a brand shoot, and walk away with my actual contracts and model release forms ready to use.
📸*** Part 2 — The Shoot: On Location with a Real Client***
In person | Friday 15th May, 6:30–8:30pm | City of Arts
You'll watch a full live brand shoot in real time — how I make the client comfortable, guide their poses, work with the light and adapt when things don't go to plan.
Then you get behind the camera yourself. You'll practice shooting within the agreed creative direction — learning to make strong images that represent the client's brand, not just images you personally like.
💻*** Part 3 — After the Shoot: Selecting, Editing & Delivering***
Online | Replay available
I'll walk you through my complete post-shoot workflow — organising files, selecting images, editing efficiently and delivering professionally. A clear, repeatable process that saves hours and makes you look polished from day one.
All online sessions are recorded. Can't make it live? The replay will be available.

?? ##Who am I and why these workshop serie
I got my first camera in 2010 and never put it down. Family gatherings, travels, friends, friends of friends. Camera always in hand. Confidence nowhere to be found. Years passed and I still wouldn't charge or call myself a photographer.
Until I did something drastic.
I got hired as a resort photographer. Terrible pay, so the only way to make it worth it was to sell as many photos as possible to 400 guests a week. That meant 14+ hour days. Harsh sun. Chaotic pool parties. Candlelit dinners. Screaming kids. Guests who hated camera
Five minutes per family — sometimes less — to make complete strangers feel comfortable, trust me, and walk away with shots they'd actually want to buy.
Zero editing. No filters, no retouching, straight from camera. And people bought them in their hundreds. Hours queuing at the photo booth to buy their pics.
Two seasons. Over 10,000 people photographed. Every body type, age, lighting condition and difficult situation imaginable. Not my best artistic work, I'll admit, but I got all the real-life experience I could possibly get. I learned more in those months than in any course or friends practice, and it made me a better photographer.
Because dealing with people IS the skill. It's the thing no course teaches you.
What your clients want is to like themselves in the pictures. To feel confident, empowered, happy. To look at a photo and think "yes, that's me, and I love it." Everything else — settings, light, composition — is just the means to get there.
These workshops exist because I was terrified of doing real, paid photoshoots for too long. I kept practicing on friends, waiting until I felt "ready" — and that moment never came. I wished I could practice with real people, without the pressure of messing it up in front of a paying clients.
And I wished more photographers would talk about how important people skills are to make your work easier. (Yes, you learn these!)
So that's exactly what we're going to do — together, and with a safety net!
