Órganos de Benitandús

Join us for a classic hike through Sierra Espadán leading to an impressive lookout showcasing the rock formations of Órganos de Benitandús and the reservoir below.
The hike starts in the little town of Alcúdia de Veo, where we will make a stop for coffee before the hike. On the first part of the route, we will follow the GR-36 trail, which will take us into the cork oak woods, so characteristic of Sierra Espadán. Once we're done with the ascent, great views will start opening up of the village below, the valley we've walked so far and the Espadán peak on the other side.
Eventually we will reach the main lookout, which will reveal these stunning rock formations that brought us here in the first place. To close the loop, we will descend on the other side and pass by small hamlet of Benitandús, and its reservoir. The final part also brings the hidden agricultural trails, which will add exciting to this great hike.
Finally, a well-deserved drink in the village, and we are ready to return to Valencia, replenisehd wtih good emotions.
