A walk through the woodland and countryside surrounding Braunton, enjoying spectacular high-level views of the north Devon coast and Taw/ Torridge estuary. Starting at Braunton and following village streets and lanes to reach a footpath, climbing through Ash Wood to Ash Barton. Then following a lane and taking a footpath to descend over Braunton Down, returning to the car park through the village streets.

Meet at the Braunton Caen Street car park at 6.30pm.

Terrain: Public footpaths, woodland trails and tarmac road. Footpaths and woodland trails can be muddy in wet weather. Some ascent/ descent. Stiles. Livestock in fields.
Toilets: Caen Street Car Park.
Parking: Caen Street Car Park Braunton free after 6pm.
