Focusing on the implementation and execution of machine learning and data science with integration into existing structured data and analytics platforms. More specifically, combining mature SQL platforms and best practices with current and trending ML algorithms.
This group is for anyone wanting to meet weekly for a few hours to participate in a semi structured and collaborative effort on tutorials or online course labs.
The goal is to master and focus on the critical elements of data science that will enable you to leverage existing matured resources and infrastructure to accelerate ML deployment by orders of magnitude.
Special attention to the automation of all aspects of ML lifecycle. Data wrangling/cleansing, model selection, evaluation, feature engineering, scoring, reviewing/exploring and final operationalization.
Basic R, Python, SQL skill preferred. Beyond doing your part as a member, you hopefully walk away with skills that translate to the programming marketplace that can either cultivate your future programming career or give you a bump in your pre existing career by showing employers your new skillset.
