Have you always wanted to write? Are you already writing and looking for some company? Are you searching for an empowering community of women in Valencia?

If you answered yes to any of these questions — or you’re simply curious — come join us at Women Writers Valencia!

Writing isn’t a solitary activity; it grows through community.
So grab your pen and notebook and come write with us.
No previous experience is needed.

Topic of this workshop:

• Discover your own voice and what you have to say

What to expect:

• Welcome, introduction, and ground rules
• Short inputs on different writing topics (e.g., freewriting, friendly feedback, autobiographical writing, dealing with perfectionism, etc.)
• Creative multimedia methods (collaging, working with colors, photos, literature, music, and more)
• Personal writing time
• Optional feedback rounds
• Social time if you’d like to stay and chat

Our workshops are part of an ongoing series and take place in the lovely shop Terreta Neta in Benimaclet — the go-to place for sustainable shopping and thoughtful gifts from local artisans.

The workshop will be held in English and Spanish.

Pricing: For now, the workshop runs on a tip basis — contribute whatever feels right to you. In the future, there may be a small workshop fee.
